One of the most beautiful views in the world. The resort is unique and wonderfully furnished. The service was pleasant and as expected with Burmese people, exceptionally kind and willing to help. Always with a smile on their face.

Hidden treasure on Lake Inle. Visited during mid Jan and the weather was lovely. Prices are slightly high, but that's expected as they want you to stay at the resort.

Beautiful rooms with wonderful views of the lake and mountains. Splendid panorama for the sunset. Very cozy place even if the noise of the engines of the boats comes to break the silence of the morning. Good restaurant. Great choice at breakfast. Employees very welcoming and helpful.

Nice rooms, we had mountain views that have us an amazing sunrise. Good food, both for breakfast and dinner. Not really suitable if you want a choice for evening dining locations as its so far away from any other restaurants.
Main problem was not having enough hot water in the room to fill the bath..
If you decide to equip your rooms with a bath then you should ensure the hot water supply is sufficient.response / report this review -

Staff were always smiling, very helpful with every query. Location is right on the lake, with spacious, private huts. About 30mins by bicycle from the town. The hotel restaurant also has an extensive wine menu, and the fish we had here was some of the best.

Although its nice being on the waterside (although most of the huts don't have a lake view), it's location means its almost impossible to go anywhere else for food and trips and taxis realistically have to be booked through the hotel. The trips offered by the hotel are reasonably priced ($25-30) although this is much higher than the standard local price of 20,000kyat (around $15) for the hire of a driver and boat for the day, which means a lot of the cost is going to the hotel rather than the locals. The buffet breakfast here is amazing, although its only on when there are enough guests so you might be offered the fixed menu instead. Dinner here is an alright price compared to western restaurant prices although wildly more expensive than local prices and the food is pretty average. The taxi transfers to nyuang shwe offered by the hotel are double the local price too!
In summary: if I were to visit inle lake again I would stay at one of the nice hotels around nyuang shwe and give this a miss!response / report this review -

I don't ever write reviews. I've recently been asked to recall this magical place for a reference. While it's been over two years now since I've visited, the memory of this place is still very vivid.

Just ok. Food service is only marginally available as of Oct 2015. The view is fantastic and rooms are new and functional. Had to press the staff to accept non-Myanmar currency when my credit card did not work. Then they initially gave a very poor conversion rate, which they adjusted when I told them fine but that I would have to let people know about that on a review. Not the friendly, trustworthy type of place that I found in many other cities across Myanmar at this price range. Also, bad food in this country is a sin. Food in Myanmar is terrific. I stayed at this hotel as part of a multi-city private tour.

A sort of quiet stilt village on the eastern side of Inle lake. Comfortable and large rooms. Amazing views from the front-lake bungalows.
