Good location: next to the canal where you can take boats. Friendly service. Reasonable price by western standard. Good rooftop bar with view. Clean, nicely appointed room. Only problem was the tap water was yellow as you see in the pic of bath tub here. Not sure why they didn't invest a water filter.

Spectacular view from the rooftop bar! Buy one get one free for cocktails. You can enjoy the sunset view even not staying in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel located in the heart of the action with spectacular views from some rooms & the rooftop bar! BW is very close to boats & restaurants.
The manager, Miss Thinza is the sweetest, most friendly & helpful person we have met in Myanmar! She has been a wealth of knowledge & given us advice on what to do while in Lake Inle as well as well as Mandalay.
Our room is clean, comfortable & has a balcony overlooking the jetty; we couldn't be happier.
The staff are all courteous & accommodating.

I stayed in a deluxe balcony suite recently with my 3 kids. The room was huge with 2 balconies and sitting room. They setup an extra bed in the sitting room and my oldest (12) was quite comfy there.
We arrived at 5:00 am and were swiftly escorted to our room without extra early check in charges. The decor in the room was absolutely gorgeous as were the views over the water. The staff were friendly and quite helpful. In Myanmar, moreso than anywhere else I have travelled, you rely on hotel staff a lot more. It’s very important for them to be helpful and be your go between with the non English speaking population. This hotel’s staff went above and beyond.
Location was great with many restaurants close by and walking distance to the boats. The only negative was that since there weren’t many in the hotel the breakfast buffet wasn’t setup. We ordered breakfast off a menu. Food was ok.
