The presence of the owner and the local youth being engaged in providing services is the highlight of the place
Though the approach is little difficult, yet the location in the paddy field, next to the river and the backdrop of the hills make it extraordinary
Being the first Indian family visitors, we were looked after very well and a lot of culture is very familiar
The day river journey with stopover for lunch at the village is an unique experience
Psipaw with the River Lodge combination demands 4 night minimum

Had a great visit there due to friendly and warmly greetings from staffs.
River Front View is awesome and tranquil rural setting is unique.

The location of river view lodge is on the bank of Dokhtawaddy river, inside the Shan Village Nauk Gad and half an hour away from downtown. It is a nice quiet place with beautiful river view at the front and paddy fields at the back. The breakfast is delicious prepared by nice friendly staffs. I had dinner at the hotel yesterday and also breakfast are the best I have ever tasted in kinda budget hotel like here.The rooms are quite cute with decoration and can enjoy the milky way over sky at night. Love to stay there and want to come back :)
