A boring sterile hotel with a dingy bar. There is nowhere to sit outside and no veranda even though there is plenty of space at the front of the hotel. The hotel faces the river but all the bedrooms have a rear-facing view of the street at the back.

It is a palace on the strang road in Mawlemyine. I often go there to pick clients up and dropout part of our southern myanmar trip. The views I can see just front side of the Hotel is river view. In the morning we have chance to watch local fishermen under the morning rays of Sun and also in the evening to feeding seagulls on the pavement by the river is wonderful. I can't forget of this experience.

+ spacious room and very comfy beds with reasonable price
+ friendly and courteous staffs
+ clean
+ good view towards the river
- breakfast variety is not much
- staffs are unable to accommodate a lot of requests
- cannot borrow umbrella
- so-so air-conditioning and so-so Wi-Fi

Avoid. Filthy kitchen (I accidentally went into looking for way out) which gave me food poisoning. At checkout tried to add bogus charge to bill.
