∆Best Central Station.
∆Parking area is very big.
∆Fully neat and clean area.
∆Staffs are good.
∆But the hotel of the area are not give good services as they charge money.

Terminal station in Mandalay. But there are not much a reasonable hotel and restaurant in around there. Also When you arrive at late night , you may be worried here is in dimly place. If you are alone , you had better to avoid late arrivals.

After the improvement of the railway system in Myanmar a few years ago, travelers could be able to travel by train cheaper and easier. The location of the train station in Mandalay is the best I have ever seen due to a short walk from my hostel. For anyone who loves travel by train, it would be great to see the old buildings and to mix and ride with the locals. In Mandalay Railway Station you can experience them all.

Good central location. Better to take train out of mandalay. MTT office on ground floor at eastern (main) entrance. Good cafe on third floor to pass time. Possible to rent a mat and sleep on the floor at your train platform if you have a late train.
