Very nice and quiet stay. comfortable room to sleep. Offered complementary dinner on first night. Room had strong smell of urinal cake though.

The place is quiet and cozy. The customer service is really good, they even gave complementary dinner on the first day of arrival and the bed and room was well decorated for the couple's honeymoon package at no extra cost. The rooms are individual houses constructed with mostly natural items like wood. The room has air conditioning, hot and cold water shower is available too. The chief receptionist, Ms. San San Oo, can also help to make arrangements for the sight seeing tours or e-bikes. They also have bicycles for rent at the hotel itself and they can even help to arrange for e-bikes upon request. It is best to visit Bagan during November till February, which is winter season here. The friendly staff here would go out of their way to help your stay more enjoyable.

Upscale place with outstanding service, if this is your cup of tea.
I spent three nights here with my girlfriend to explore Bagan. My initial impression from TripAdvisor was that it was a very clean hotel which was what we wanted after the bus trip. But Kaytumadi is an hotel that should strike above the three stars it is listed under. At any time outside of your well-appointed and clean bungalow will you be waited upon by waiters and concierges. They claim to train staff so that they have good opportunities at other hospitality jobs and it seems very much to be the case. Personally I'm not very much into being waited upon but the service was immaculate nevertheless. Food is great there (try the sweet potato curry, divine), and many travelers new to Asia night welcome a European style shower. The guests seem to be mostly European pensioners and the place is quiet. We rented an E-Bike every day and the staff were very caring in setting it all up and getting helmets and all.
In short: great place if you're into great service and being waited upon.response / report this review -
