Staff are very good and all speak English quite well. Breakfast is good. Rooms are a little dated, but are clean and serviced daily. Location was fine, but in Yangon it is best to plan carefully as getting around is not always easy.

About 45 - 60 mins drive from Yangon International Airport. Rooms are adequate for business stay for four to five days. Non-smoking rooms are available. Check in is hassle free. Just present your identity card to the front desk. Room service and cleanliness are good. Complimentary tea and coffee are available in the room. Complimentary breakfast is also available with most bookings. If you happen to take your lunch and dinner in the hotel, good choice of traditional and non-Myanmarese cuisines are available. While booking ask for a room with a view to the Schwengadon pagoda. The vast place and the shining pagoda is good relaxation after a tiring days work. Sauna and fitness centre are available. English is a little problematic but they do understand your pulse with one or two tries. Local tourist attractions are nearby. Do visit the Iravati (Irawaddy) banks. Resturants and bars are located nearby.

The good: Good rates and wonderfully warm and helpful people running the hotel, from concierge to bell desk to the gym staff. Near two train station stops on the Yangon railway.
The bad: It is a very dated building that hasnt been maintained well. Rooms and hallways smell quite badly of sewage pipes and the tap water has a strong taste of rust.response / report this review -

Upon arrival we were upgraded to penthouse suite which has a big space for sleeping, living and kitchen area. The views are nice and no noise at night. Enough electric outlets. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. They agreed to keep us in this same room throughout the time that our organized tour was starting as we arrived days before the tour started and didn't want to move. The charm is a little older which is normal in Myanmar, but they keep it up very well. The room and hotel overall are kept really clean. The bathroom in our room is great and very updated. The bathroom in the lobby area needs more frequent cleaning. The breakfast is good with a station for omelettes and noodle soup. There is a selection of Burmese/Asian food and more sweet European breakfast items. The hotel is located fairly close to downtown. The ride to Shwendagon Pagoda is 10 minutes in good traffic and you won't spend more than $2 on one ride.

Great staff, and clean rooms. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. They have a good exercise room with modern and clean equipment. You can relax in their saunas too! They offer free daily shuttles to the Shwedagon, Boygyoke Market and Chinatown. Highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel, VERY clean! We stayed for 9 nights and it was perfect. Great view of the Shwedagon Pagoda as well. Breakfast buffet was huge, a little on the cold side toward the end of breakfast time but still tasted great. Free bottled water in the room every day. Super friendly staff and as I said before, the cleanliness really stood out! The shower was great too, good water pressure (something o *always* struggle with in hotels).

Very well located in a busy city like Yangon, rooms are very clean and bathrooms well designed. I tried the hotel's restaurant which served surprisingly good food with quick service.

Nice 4 star Hotel. Breakfast is located on 2nd floor, and also you could have lunch/dinner on 1st floor restaurant. Food is good.
I can see the Shwedagon Pagoda from the 10th floor room. Bright and gold color makes nice view in the night.response / report this review -

Reasonably priced hotel (~70 USD at the time of our visit in 2015), but somewhat far from the center of the city. Check the room time (the cheapest ones tend to be without the windows, which is rather depressing. Surroundings are not that friendly in the evening time (lighting is rather poor) - better use the taxi, when it's getting dark. Staff is friendly and willing to help.

Decent hotel. Nice size room for 2 , clean beds and mattress. Pillows not too soft , above average firm. Shower jets water pressure is ok. Room toilet has a sewage smell, not sure why. Water from Tap has a strong iron taste. Prime location. Nearby within 100m has a tiny pharmacy , there is push carts selling local food and drinks. Room has big bottles of mineral water so no need to buy. Plugs is 3 pin, room has safe box and air dryer. Breakfast has western and Asian food. Variety spread is ok. Sometimes limited seats especially the peak breakfast timing. They will open up the lounge area if not enough seats. Generally I am quite satisfied with the hotel. And oh yes, I like the flooring made of laminated flooring, very clean. Perhaps they just refurbish the rooms.

The renovated rooms are nice and modern. It's a bit far (walking) to any restaurants or Chinatown as there are no sidewalks. The hotel restaurant (Asian on the 1st floor) has a set menu for about 6,000 kyat. It's way too much food for one person.
