In none hotel of the world you can go straight to the dining room. I can't judge, if Tin Ma Ma was treated well, but I can see that she wrote her words in anger. But this has nothing to do with this beautiful hotel. We stayed there for 3 month til February 2018 and had a good time. The owners are friendly and helpful and it is great to relax on the terrace at the canal or in front of each room. You won't find a second hotel in Mandalay for this price with an open area like this, big rooms and helpful owners.

It's a type of family hotel, when I and my local friend got there while looking for room, they said, it's not a hotel though I've ever been there with foreign friends. This hotel seems only accept foreigners.

If possible, I don't want to give any star to this hotel. I have never stayed in the hotel but I have got friends who have stayed in that hotel. They treat so BADLY and RUDELY to the local people (Myanmar people). They only look upto foreigners and when local friends go to the hotel, they will treat without any respect. This morning (16/Jan/2018), I went to see my 3 friends staying in the hotel (they stay there because it's close to our school). I asked where the dining room is because I have been messaged by my friend that I should come and see them at the dining room. I was shocked that I have been scolded and told rudely how the dining room is full and how busy they are to even have a Local in the room. They used bad words (they mean the owner old man of the hotel) and his wife was looking at me as if I was going to do something bad. I felt so sad and ashamed. I have never been shouted or kicked out from anywhere in my life. This is the first time and I don't deserve this.
Dear friends,
If you are coming to Myanmar and have Myanmar friends or willing to have Myanmar friends, you'd better NOT stay in this hotel. Believe me, they only look up to Foreigner but discriminate any LOCAL people!

Suite à un problème informatique notre réservation avait été annulée, le patron nous à tout de même invité à manger pour s'en excuser et nous à trouvé une chambre malgré tout.

Les chambres sont sur pilotis, bien décorées. Concernant le confort, la douche italienne est très grande, les WC sont propres, climatisation et moustiquaires, petite terrasse privative avec fauteuils en bambou : que demander de mieux ?

Le lendemain, l’hôtel nous à prêté des vélos pour visiter la ville. en cas de besoin, ne pas hésiter à demander, la famille qui gère est très aimable et vous rendra volontiers service.

Small family-run accommodation. Beautiful rooms. Breakfast is getting served outside at a small pond. Very friendly and helpful. All together a very good basic accommodation.
