By far the best food we had in Mawlamyine. It's a bit western style, but honestly, after few weeks of street food it was really refreshing.

Fascinating and beautiful accommodation, lots of traditional souvenirs and artifacts located throughout the hotel and the guest rooms. Definitely a lot of character here. Probably the best restaurant in all of Mawlamyine, I come here to have dinner even when I don't stay at the hotel itself. Food and dessert are absolutely superb, service is professional, especially the manager lady who speaks good English. Restaurant prices are very reasonable, much cheaper than a meal at a similar standard restaurant would cost you in Thailand.

Summary: price on the high end, but staff are excellent, helpful and informative. Rooms and decor are superb, and mini bar is huge with a great selection. Cycle tourists: no bikes allowed inside, but they have a place outside behind a locked gate where we kept them with no problems; we could even see them from our room balcony. Staff organized a last-minute tour of Ogre Island, which was really interesting. Restaurant is very good and breakfast is too much to eat; I wish they had more Burmese dishes on the breakfast menu like tea leaf salad or oh nu khao swè (noodle soup) or mohinga (fish soup) so we could try these traditional foods in a safe setting. However, the bread station at breakfast is amazing with lots of different grains and options; just don't use the really waxy margarine they give you. There is a pat of New Zealand butter also included, which is much better. Best hotel we've stayed at in Myanmar so far!

Quite expensive but big, clean rooms. Great variety for breakfast. Well located in the middle of the city. (quite noisy though). Friendly and competent staff.

A very nice and newish place that is also well situated. About 10 minute walk to the promenade and same time to the market. The dorms are superb with 2 showers / toilets. Every bed is spacious, modern and has its own locker, light, curtains. The price is probably a bit higher than the average but what you get is a newly established hotel and not many people in your room, which means almost no disturbance. I would definitely return to that place in my future travels.

Very nice but restaurant is VERY expensive. I only had a breakfast there and I have to admit it was very big and tasty. Beds in dormitory are big and comfy, funny thing is that you have to brush your teeth - Outside, in front of the street:)
Staff is helpful. English could be a little better - they told me that it will take me 13 hrs to get to my next destination. In fact it was 18 Which was too much and I had to change my plans and get out of the bus at 3 am in the city I didn't plan to go.
But in general I recommend, just a little costy.

Stayed in the dorm, very nice though more expensive than other options. Breakfast is great here, would not eat other meals as overpriced. Staff are very friendly and polite. This hotel would really benefit from some kind of common area though, the lack of it forces people in the dorm to simply stay in their pods.

Beautiful hotel, with attentive staff, a restaurant on site open throughout the day and air conditioning. The dorm beds are comfortable, surrounded by privacy curtains and with an individual locker, light and power socket. More expensive than dorms elsewhere in Myanmar, but worth it for the sanctuary.

I think this place got mixed reviews on agoda but it's one of the nicest dorms I've ever stayed in while traveling. Really fancy and clean. Staff are friendly and know enough English. Good location. Extremely accommodating. I would 100% recommend spending the extra few bucks to stay here instead of the other options in town

Clean rooms. Staff is friendly but not helpful. They aspire to provide western service but miss the mark.
Breakfast is served outside, which gets pretty hot even in the morning.
Laundry service price is twice what other hotels charge. Also, laundry didn't come back very clean.
