St. Martin's best beach and one of the best in the Caribbean. The sand is super soft and the water is super clear and warm. Beachfront restaurants provide chairs and services for a reasonable price. Another great reason is it's clothing optional so you can wear as little as you'd like. There's no mega resorts here (a good thing) but plenty of great small hotels in the area and all have convenient access to the beach. There's also plenty of water sports available and good snorkeling right off shore near the south end around Orange Fever.
Beautiful water and sand looking out over the Atlantic ocean. Unfortunately on our visit in February all the shops by the beach were still in ruins with a few makeshift stands set up. Very glad we stopped here as it is still a beautiful beach and anything you can do to help contribute will help get the local community back on its feet.
Don't expect all the comforts that were there before just yet but don't shy away from this gem.
Sandy sun bathing beach. Fairly crowded since the beach is also uses by resorts with beachfront property. Water was a bit turbulent and murky on the day I was there.
Half reg, half naked . Weather was amazing. Can't wait to see what it looks like after they rebuild .
Nice beach. Please note its a nude beach (clothing optional) for those that don't know. Much of it however is gone due to the last Hurricane.
Only because of the devastation, how do you rate their pain? I pray all those touched by Irma will recover. Their pain and loss is here is astonishing
Irma definitely left her mark on Orient Beach, but the people were friendly and Jewdy and I had a great time there.
I love Oriant bay beach but not much happening after hurricane Irma, all beach restaurant are gone. Vanished. Zelsh, none.
This beautiful beach still is just that: a beautiful beach. All shops, restaurants and bar have been totally demolished. It will take a long, long time to become the tourist attraction it was! Now, it is a sad plce to visit!
Absolutely beautiful beach. One of the nicest I've seen in the world. Amazing spot with great shops, restaurants and cafes. Would highly recommend to everyone. Loved it!!
Very nice beach and restaurant with clean facilities. The beach have plenty of local vendors that are haggling you while you are resting. The Buffett and music was nice at the Waikiki. Lounge chairs were comfortable.
Beautiful beach, must visit once in your life. Few negatives. The shore line could be cleaned up a bit more. There is a strong stink smell @ and around coco Beach.
Seaweed bloom covered the beach. We were hoping for perfect but just got okay. Wish we knew before we made the trip
It's a beautiful white sandy beach, the water has the perfect temperature and color. Best nudist beach in the island. Has a cloth optional section.
The best beach ever! Was there in early April while on our Honeymoon. The water was perfect temperature. The beach had plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. There is also a nice well stocked beach bar too. It was my first visit to a nude beach. Now I understand why people go to them, it's just feels right.👍.
This island was witness to the change of a young mans life. Maybe it was the close encounter with a 747 on a beach where some of the most beautiful women take their cloths off to tan. Maybe it was their pride in how the islanders, locals, treated tourists. I was 14 when I went. Still go. I will continue to go.
A great beach. One side is cloth optional. The water is cool, clear and clean. Safe to swim. Crowded at times. Beautiful white sandy beach. There are places to buy drinks and snacks. You can catch a taxi from there back to downtown.
TRASH BEACH!!!!
1. Random naked old ladies walk by
2. Tons of seaweed everywhere
3. Super over crowded
4. Super Windy
5. Sand is super rocky
6. Tons of vendors bugging you every 2 seconds
7. Super expensive chairs and restaurants
8. Its just trash in general, go to any other beach ( Mullet Bay wink wink)
DO NOT GO TO ORIENT(TRASH) BAY BEACH
The water is breathtaking and there are water sports available. The beach is super crowded during the peak hours and clothing is not necessarily mandatory.
My favorite beach! Especially the nice people at the south end. 2 for 1 drinks at the Perch daily in the afternoon.
Beautiful beach and lucked out on a calm day with no cruise ships, so beach was empty compared to days when 6 cruise ships dock I was told. Had lunch at Au Ti Bikini and it was great.
The beach and the water is beautifulbut be advised if you are taking young children there are lots of folks (of all ages) who wear thong bottoms, no tops, and banana hammocks with only the twig covered-berries were swinging in the breeze. The sight of these were more amusing to our party however, if I had had young children it would have been uncomfortable. The other down side of this beach was the fact that they charged ridiculous rates for everythingfor example they charge $1.00 every time you wanted to utilize the restroom, $8.00 for chair rental for 45 minutes. We spent most of our time fending off peddlers of every sort. It is pretty but was really not relaxing when constantly defending why you didn't want their services or wares.
