Fabulous chef, amazing pastry chef! Super hosts and a good wine list. What more could you need for an amazing lunch or dinner. The videos not what it used to be as the !stone royal is badly damaged from hurricane Irma. But businesses are slowly rebuilding.
The food is superb and fresh from seasonal ingredients. The dishes are French but creative so you get a different twist on traditional French dishes. Coffee is excellent, which is rare on this island.

I had lunch here today and I really had a hard decision to make when it came to making a choice on the appetizer.. everything on the menu looks fantastic.
Appetizer, main and dessert was fantastic. Especially their trilogy seafood special of the day.
All I can say make a reservation or show up early.
    Bon appetite

After the hurricanes only open for lunch until further notice! Still great food, great ambiance for reasonable prices! Glad they are back in business!

Le Tropicana on the Rue de Sandy Ground in Marigot has wonderful cuisine with tables on the waterside of the harbor. The staff is very attentive and provides excellent service, and the restaurant has a nice wine list.

we find this location to be very enjoyable and consistent. We look forward to returning every time we are back on the island.

It was the last night of our trip in St Martin and I was really excited to eat here for our last dinner. Even though we were extremely tired, and a bit under the weather, we still made the effort to drive across the island (30+ min) to go to this restaurant. We finally arrived, only to find out that it was closed on a Friday night during peak dinner time. It was very upsetting that nowhere did it mention that this establishment wasn't operating.

Very disappointing. Please update your credentials.

I believe this is the best restaurant on the island, and has been for many years. If you're on island for more than a day, go here for dinner or at least a good lunch. Also has the best banana rum of anywhere.

Wow! This is a quaint little place with a KILLER menu and wonderful service. The manager? owner? not sure which she is, but she grew up in restaurants and was SO charming. She gave us a few tips on things to see, and between her and our server, we had a fantastic time! Veggie risotto was luscious, the seafood special was superb, the duck special with foie gras 😳🤤 I need that in my life on a regular basis. Pesto fettuccine and spaghetti carbonara were both very very good as well. Clean plates all around, and the wine selection was not disappointing either. Our party split the assorted pastry plate for dessert and again, we cleaned the plate. Perfect for a group to share after a lovely meal (although EVERYTHING on the menu had my mouth watering).

The house rum was a delicious way to cap the night, the flavors of vanilla and banana were surprisingly perfect together.

Highly recommend La Tropicana! Would love to come back if(when!) we return to St Martin.

Incredible. Food, service, everything was great. Took a while to get the check, but they kept giving us free shots of delicious banana rum, so no complaints there. Defintiely recommend.

Food, service, and experience was incredible! This is my second time in 10 years and it was still just as fantastic as I remembered. Every tourist should have a visit and enjoy the fine French cuisine!

One of the best restaurants on the island. What they really do, better than almost anyone else, are desserts. They are stunning and delicious. The atmosphere is good too and the staff are wonderful. I've been there on my last two trips to St. Martin and they have yet to disappoint.
