Beautiful Resort One of the best vacations we ever had in 2014!
So far so good very efficient staff as we prepare for a big hurricane
This place is definitely hidden. It's secluded from everything else, but close enough to walk(1/2 mile) to the busier (restaurant/shops) areas. At first I was disappointed, but as the days went by it grew on me. The staff is really friendly (shout out to Rena!) and the calm and relaxing ambience really keeps you at peace and tranquil. The only downfall is the lack of food options and everything is outdated. I mean seriously, even the vending machine had 3 coke cans and a gingerale. Nothing else in there. Oh! BRING A WALL OUTLET ADAPTER! They rent it for $6 during your stay. They should honestly not charge people for an outlet adapter. I've been to other Caribbean islands nearby and they all had the same outlets we have a New York. Anyway, I would not come back here because of the lack of food options and to go anywhere you need a car or walk a long distance. The best part of this place is basically the beach and the pool.
We had a fantastic stay. It's a great gated location with a very quiet beach. The rolls and coffee for breakfast everyday were great for us. We'll be back!
A wonderful stay in St. Martin. The Grand Case Beach club is tucked away on it's own section of the Grand Case beach which made for a very quiet, intimate and relaxing get away. Our room surpassed our expectations and had everything we could need. The Sunset Cafe on the premises is delicious! We had a wonderful time and would recommend to all friends and family.
We started coming to this hotel in 1984. We love it. It's a wonderful place. It's one of the few places you can sleep 50 feet from the ocean, and the ocean is as calm as a swimming pool. Wonderful service. The French restaurant is outstanding and friendly.
Loved our stay at the Grand Case Beach Club! It was recommended to us by our travel agent and did not disappoint. Fantastic private setting and excellent amenities including the on-site restaurant. Two separate beaches, great views of the surrounding mountains as well as Anguilla across the water. Great service from all the staff, and just a short walk from a ton of great restaurants in Grand Case. On-site car rental makes it easy to get around the island. Looking forward to our return!
Newly remodeled pool and restaurant this hotel is a five star. Private beach with activities desk. Nice easy walk into Grand Case village with 5 star restaurants! Hotel rooms are spacious with either a beach view or garden view. Also an extremely beautiful restaurant and bar right on the property! Many, many repeat guest make it a community of it's own!
My husband and I had visited in 2008 and everything was amazing! Because we had such a wonderful time on our first visit we invited friends to come along with us. The resort itself is still lovely as ever however our experience at Sunset Cafe was drastically different from our first visit. When I made our reservations I saw that the "free breakfast " had changed to say "free continental breakfast " which is fine! Here is what I had a problem with, we were given a basket with 2 pastries (1 plain and 1 chocolate ) along with 2 pieces of French bread. Both my husband and I wanted a plain pastry but we're told we would have to pay for it!! Why couldn't they just switch the chocolate for another plain pastry? The tall blond waitress that works the breakfast service treated us horribly poured coffee all down the side of the cupsjust horrible!!! We just decided not to eat in the restaurant anymore while there however yesterday while waiting on our taxi to take us to the airport, we were talking with the manager and some other guests and once I listened to their experiences at the restaurant and it was apparent that their experiences were different from ours. One couple had there son with them and he talked about how each morning they were given a basket of pastries and a basket of bread. As we rode to the airport I pondered on the conversations and then the light bulb came on.the difference between our experience at the restaurant and the others we talked with was the color of our skin.it was simply black and white..needless to say we won't ever return here. We will be back to St. Martin but we will never stay here again!
