The breakfast served here is delicious and a bargain. The service is great and everyone is very helpful.
Room 10 is the last room on the top floor. It's spacious with its own private balcony. If you go there off season in the winter months it can get pretty windy up there and the space heater provided takes a while to warm up the room.

Friends of mine visiting Tangier for the first time stayed at La Tangerina on Riad Sultan in the Kasbah on my recommendation, since I know the owners and love this place, especially its terrace with fabulous views of the ocean and Spain (on a clear day). The riad-style hotel is small, well-decorated with antiques and it is comfortably heated in the winter and cooler months.

There are direct ocean views from some of the rooms and the spacious rooftop terrace. The rooms are all perfectly comfortable, if a bit small or narrow, but they have good mattresses and lots of hot water in the modern baths.

An excellent breakfast served on the roof-top terrace, and you may also request in advance Moroccan foods prepared just for you for lunch or dinner, at extra cost. But it is certain to be delicious.

The owners of La Tangerina, Farida and Jorgen, are friendly, knowedgable and helpful hosts.

Friends of mine stayed here on my recommendation since I know the owners and love this place. The Hotel is small, well-decorated with antiques, heated in the winter, and best of all is the direct ocean views from some of the rooms and the relaxing rooftop terrace.

The rooms are comfortable, with good mattresses and lots of hot water in the baths.

There is a good breakfast served on the roof terrace, and you may request in advance Moroccan foods prepared just for you.

The owners Farida and Jorgen are excellent, knowedgable and helpful hosts.

Absolutely amazing! You know those places you visit, and you leave without words to describe?? La Tangerina is it. My sister often stays at this beautiful Riad, and we went for my birthday. We were welcomed so warmly by the staff, I felt like I was home. Everybody is extremely helpful and friendly, and will do anything for you to have an amazing stay.

The rooms are beautiful, the owener, has impeccable taste. The food is amazing as well.

I 1,000% recommend staying at La Tangerina.

Make sure to try the hammam if you have time, I was hesitant but it was worth the experience!

Thank you all from La Tangerina for the amazing stay. I will definitely be coming back!

This is the most devine Riad - sublime food and accommodation - could have spent the whole three weeks here. Every detail is sophisticated, right down to the twittering finches in the atrium. Omg go!

A Place you'll never forget, a Friendly but efficient and outstanding service, a comfort far above any Riad in Morocco, A unique terrace & view over the Strait to Spain, An unforgettable stay for a very reasonable fee. We've been there many time and always wait to go back. No mention about the unique Chef: Farida and staff and unique Tajines!
