Service and staff were fantastic. Cannot fault them whatsoever. However, the Riad felt like a dark medieval church as soon as you walked in. At the height of noon, it would feel like as though the sun was about to set because there was SO LITTLE sunlight. Our room also had no windows and felt completely dark at all hours.
Also the music being played in the Riad was unwelcome as it reinforced the dark church theme.

The positives of this place are the location, the view from the roofdeck and the colorful interior. The rooms were very spacious and clean but not sparkling. The location is actually super convenient because (and you won't appreciate this until you get here) 1. you can easily find your hotel upon arrival and at night due to it being next to a main gate and 2. You can get dropped off very close so you don't need to drag your luggage within the Medina which would be a nightmare. Breakfast was generous. The things to consider: the door locks from the inside and out, so make sure they are aware of when you need to come and go or else you could get locked in or out. if you have an early flight/ bus, make sure you confirm they will be there to open the door at an agreed upon time. Despite them booking our bus tickets for us and knowing when we had to leave, no one was around to let us out of the riad (7:15am). We eventually found someone but it almost made us late. Also, if you do leave in the morning, know you should book a taxi as it was very difficult to find one that early, even at the Place R'cif which has a taxi stand. And while it's not the hotels responsibility to suggest a scheduled taxi, it would have been really helpful to know.

Great location, looks amazing once you're inside, very spacious rooms, nice and clean, lovely roof terrace, very friendly staff, and they do a lovely breakfast.

On the downside, the stairs are a bit steep, but that's pretty much the case anywhere in the old parts of the city. Also i'd wish they'd invest in those showers next to the toilets you find in other Muslim countries.

A wonderful place to stay in Fes! The Riad is hidden in a quiet location but is only a few minutes walk from the old medina quarter. The rooms are very well presented and very comfortable. There is a rooftop terrace giving excellent views of the city. Breakfast is generous and delicious. The hosts are very helpful and provide useful information. Some of the rooms are at the top of many stairs (there is no elevator), so might be hard if you have a lot of luggage and find stairs difficult. Overall an excellent place to stay, and very reasonable price for the exquisite interior. Highly recommended.

Guest House in a backyard alley, without a fasad, old and renovated with charming interior. Breakfast and dinner is served. Well decorated rooms with toilets and showers, free wi-fi. Sun deck with sunbeds and dining possibilities in summertime, good panorama wiev over the old medina town and the surrouning mountains. Recepsion and dining artium is not heated or cooled. Four levels pluss sundeck and no elevator.

Amazing service. A kind team of stuffs. Nice room. Good prices. A terrace with the beautiful landscape. The best hotel in my Morocco tour for sure. It was an oasis of the medina.

Just be careful about a tourist seeker from a cafe near by the hotel. If you talk with him even a little, he'll remember you and try to bring you to his cafe or sell weeds every single times when you leave or come back to the hotel. The hotel itself is really nice so I'm really disappointed about that point.

However, I strongly recommend you to get a room in here if you are planning for Fez tour.

Like a palace! The decoration are just amazing. Super delicates and not over complicated. Nice terrace with awesome medina view. The staffs are always friendly and provide help on everything possible. The room is not very big and there is no wifi in the room. But we had great time there and will go back if we visit Fez again.

Very nice terrasse rooms are tidy functional but a bit dark. The archtitecture of this riad is very unique. Not too far from the Zawiya Sidi Ahmed Tijani Breakfast is nice and simple dont ask for too much. Dont miss sunset and sunrise over the roof. Nice experience

This riad was slightly difficult to find but it was well worth it!

We ordered vegetarian tajine as well as chicken tajine. The food was delicious and the riad's staff were accommodating and welcoming. Highly recommended!

At first they served us Moroccan mint tea with a sweet pastry. Shortly after we got a vegetarian Moroccan soup and then we were served the tajine. Lastly, they served an interesting yogurt desert with fresh strawberries and chopped mint.
