Not situated in the best location if you want to see Casablanca but it is reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was continental style with a lot of sweet Moroccan pastries.
There were issues with plumbing in the two rooms I stayed. The water tank for the toilet was making loud noise through out my stay.response / report this review -

Very unclean. The bathroom and bed sheets were dirty and the staff were not very nice when we asked about getting new sheets and someone to clean the bathroom. We ended up changing our reservation because of how unclean the rooms were.

Authentically quirky. Great Mosaics! Rooms are very comfortable. Not in the most glamorous part of casablanca. An old world experience. Easy walking distance to train station and local shops. A 15 minute walk to get to the local bazaars in the medina.

I had just toured the other Moroccan cities of Fes and Marrakech for 6 days. I chose Hotel Moroccan House on price alone. It's not fancy or posh, but it gets the job done. I simply needed a place in Casablanca for a night or two before catching my flight out. I walked from Casa Voyageurs to the hotel. It took about 25-30 minutes. It wasn't until I arrived that I realized I could have taken the Casa Tram. The Casa Tram charges a flat fee of 70 or 80MAD (depending on which ticket option you choose). You can take it to La Gare Mohammed Dyouri, which is a 3 minute walk from the hotel.
The room was decorated with some traditional-looking artwork, a canopy bed and furnished with a fridge, safe and TV. The mattress was comfortable, but the worst part were the pillows. They had 3 pillows in total. 2 of the pillows matched the duvet cover, so I was convinced those were for decoration only. The last pillow was a long, thin pillow (kind of like a fat snake) that was the width of the bed. The diameter of the pillow wasn't large enough to fully fit your head. However, the pillow diameter wasn't small enough to just fit underneath my neck. I even tried folding it in half without any luck.
Besides the pillow fiasco, my other least favorite part of the room was the shower. The bathtub was elevated by at least a foot, making it very difficult and dangerous to enter/exit the shower. Additionally, the shower only had a half fixed wall, so the bathroom floor was always covered in water when I got out of the shower. Like I said, it wasn't fancy, but I was able to get a quiet night's sleep.response / report this review -

We had water from cieling and room wasn't cleaned. Bed was small but all rooms had great visual representaiton. Breakfast had great eggs and fine bread.

Nice moroccan style hotel, nothing to fancy. Everything you need is available in the room, there is also a fridge.

Don't believe the pictures!!
This hotel offers none of amenities described. the spa and hammam look they haven't worked in ages, the rooms are old and beds are uncomfortable. The lobby is pathetic and ridden with cockroaches. They don't have that in the pictures.
As soon as I arrived I tried to cancel the rest of my 6 night stay the hotel is so bad even the bell boy was surprised I booked for that long.
I wish I could give it a 0 star or better yet a black hole. Total fail Moroccan House. Never again!! You should have let me cancel when I told you this is false advertising. Instead you get this honest review for your poor service.

Stayed there for 3 nights with family. Great location. Good value for money. Pretty nice breakfast. Staff was always helpful.

It's not the worst, but certainly not the best. Not sure if they clean their sheets Also the place is so incredibly dark. Can't see a single thing in there and the light automatically turns off in 3 seconds. Lot attendant also expect money again and again for parking. Would not go back again.

Crazy ecclectic room decor. Beyond tacky. Like a dollhouse that had an excited toddler as its interior decorator. Dirty bathrooms. Positives: it's cheap and has a great breakfast buffet.

We arrived late due to train delay and room service already stopped. We are starving and a staff offer to help us to find food. We confirmed him twice. We wait for an hour and he never show up. Finally we walked for half an hour to buy snacks for dinner. Disaster.
