Such a wonderful experience! The manager is so caring, and will help you with anything - gear hire, meals, advice. Everything is well priced and they really go out of their way to look after you. I don't normally write reviews but they definitely deserve this one. Thank you so much!

Incredible little lodge. Such a loving family. Bedroom was magical. Felt right at home.
Full access to the roof, which has arguably some of the best mountain views I've ever seen.
I've been to a lot of hotels around a lot of places, but this is easily one of the best.response / report this review -

Les chambres sont très agréables, meublées avec goût dans le respect de l'architecture locale. L' accueil chaleureux une grande gentillesse et une grande generosite de toute la famille. Vue magnifique depuis la terrasse sur la vallée; repas tres copieux et traditionnel;

LOCATION- was amazing; nestled in a small village perched on the side of a hill looking into the Imlil valley surrounded by mountains, about 15 minutes from town gave a real sense of isolation from the tourist bustle.
DIRECTIONS- Finding the guesthouse can be difficult if you're alone, but basically; you walk up the hill, turn off to the right just past the Google Map location point, follow the road down to where you cross a river and turn to the right. Follow the path up the hill into the village, weave past houses for a couple of minutes and keep your eyes open for the Mazik Guesthouse sign on the right hand side.
GUESTHOUSE- breakfast included an omelette on top of homemade bread, jam, olives and tea. They even got some granulated coffee for us.
We stayed in a double room with bathroom. There was no heating but plenty of blankets. The hot water was sometimes hard to work but we always ended up getting some.
Money has to be added to the WIFI each time you want to use it, so you get maybe 20 minutes depending on how many people are connected.
Overall it was a highlight of our trip so far. The combination of the Guesthouse with the nature is unbeatable. We booked 2 nights and ended up staying 5. Next time we swing past Marrakesh we are coming back here for sure.response / report this review -

De todos los lugares en donde puedes dormir en Marruecos, este será el que más os gustará. Su trato, lo cuidado del lugar, su personal Encantado con ellos. Amigables y atentos en todo. Gracias por todo. volveré.

¡Genial experiencia! Great experience!
Tres amigos y yo contratamos a Elhoussain como guía para hacer senderismo en los Atlas, subimos 4 cuatromiles y la experiencia fue MÁGICA. Elhoussain fue en todo momento atento con nosotros, un guía muy profesional que se encargó de todo, hasta el más mínimo detalle. Contrató las mulas, los muleros y el cocinero, nos alojó en su casa, nos hizo sentir parte de su familia y nos brindó una experiencia inolvidable. Es alguien conocedor de su profesión, que se preocupa de que tengas una buena experiencia, valora tu estado de forma y tu experiencia en montaña para ofrecerte una ruta acorde a tus posibilidades. El alojamiento en su casa fue realmente algo especial. Muy bonito el alojamiento, con vistas inmejorables, comida abundante, tradicional y sabrosa, nos sentimos como en casa. Su familia se preocupó en todo momento de nuestro bienestar. Recomendaría sin dudarlo a esta persona como guía y el alojamiento y los servicios que ofrece. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
3 friends and me hired Elhoussain´s services to do a trekking around the Atlas. We climbed four 4.000mts peaks and it was a magical experience. Elhoussain is a great guide, very professional and confident. He hired for us the mules, mules drivers and the chef and food. He hosted us in his own home and made us feel as part of his family. He provided us a whole unique experience. His house is very comfortable, clean and tidy, with amazing views of the Atlas and his family provided us all the confort and care needed.
