We stayed here as part of a 3 day trek put together by a local tour company. Because of a booking error on our part, they had to make substitute accommodations for us, which landed he here for the night instead of in the next town over. It does not have heat because that is not the traditional Berber way. They provide plenty of heavy fleece blankets to keep you warm. The shower was hot, there was no curtain but it was not necessary die to the design of the bathroom. The food was great! There was very little English or French spoken here, but the family was still very helpful and answered all our questions. There does seem to be a little work to do, renovation wise, mostly just connecting light fixtures. Otherwise it was extremely clean, and more than I expected for a town that has had electricity for less than 10 years.

Please avoid this place, i booked this place and when arrived turned out it is full, they redirected me to next guesthouse with worse condition and doubled price, lol. Anyway pictures in internet doesn't match real rooms, i booked double room, but they said that pictures are for big room for 4 people, it was suppose to have heating, but no rooms have it, owner was so honest so he told me he can check as many facility options as he want to make the place more attractive so people want to come to the place, but there is no such facilities of course
Even worse in the same time there was other family in exactly same situation. I didn't decided to stay there and found much more better place for less money.response / report this review -

We couldn't speak highly enough about Ahmed and his family. The guesthouse is cosy and friendly but what makes staying there great is the warm embrace from Ahmed and his lovely wife. When my husband became ill he took us in and rearranged our trek for us. We also learnt a lot about Berber culture and by the end of it were sorry to leave, we felt like we had made friends and would happily return - and will certainly recommend to friends

We stayed at Dar Tighoula for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ahmed was an excellent host in welcoming us and making us feel at home at the Riad, directing us to the waterfall on the first day and was lovely day,
