Been there several times. It can be wonderful in any season, especially in late spring or summer. Good for anything - strolling, sitting down and just relaxing, or taking your kids to the playground.

I don't know about during summer, but this park is stunning after snowfall. There's not a huge amount here, but what is there is a good amount of places to sit, nice trees and a restaurant. Being located in the city, it's also close by to a multitude of kiosks, restaurants and cafés, should you need refreshment.

Nice Park, pretty often have something going on here in summer for example beerfest like last summer it was amazing so many beers and good ones, but that's not the only thing that happens here 😁 but it was one of best things so far.

Nice park with roses in the summer, playground for kids, a little open air stage where old men play chess when there are no concerts.

Nice place.on Independence weekend they have several interesting light displays that are worth visiting. in summer its a nice get away.

It is a beautiful place, where a lot of outside activities are done during the summer season. It has a concert stage where on A every day basis you will find chess players, there is a playground for kids just the toilets are gross

Decent sized for central location, nice and pretty well looked after park.
On occasions have a local produce stalls; quite a few events happening on an open air stage during the summer.response / report this review -

It is very interesting entertainment area with life music that's free and when it's happening usually one finds the market with custom made stuff there that's really great!

Vērmanes Garden Park was one of the first open parks set up in the 19th century in Riga city. The park was originally created as Wöhrmann Park in 1814 and is located in the city centre at the crossing of K. Barona, Tērbatas and Elizabetes streets. Vērmane Park occupies a 4,82 ha of large area, abundant in a variety of valuable trees, shrubs and coniferous trees.
