Crowded sometimes, but quite nice - the canal, the hill and the overall feel is quite relaxing for the city center.

Beautiful park.Must visit when it is snowy in vinter or green and bloomy in summer time! Fantadtic park.Great canal. Very city centre. Catch a boat in summer time.romantic walk any day in the year!!!

Well maintained park in the centre of Riga, close to the Freedom Monument and the Old Town area. During Christmas it has been well lit with beautiful Christmas lights and art installations from the 8th Festival of Spatial Objects. Definitely worth spending time walking through the park and enjoying the ambiance.

Small park near to Old Town. Not the coziest one since a lot of people passing by. Compensated by the good location though. McDonald's and Subway are near, which can be considered as advantage. Has long artificial waterfall running from the top of the hill (works on summertime only)

Fantastic outdoors right in the heart of Riga. Right place to choose if you are planning a hangout with friends or family. The park is not crowded, it is quite peaceful even on weekends. Highly recommended if the afternoon in park as in family movies is what you want. Tram lines, troley and bus stops are near, as well as Old Town.
