We were staying for a few days and it was a good experience. Breakfast was rich and had lots of different options. I really liked mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Our room was clean. I really enjoyed the bathroom where floor was warm and shower had space to move in it comfortably, which is rare. Although sometimes the temperature changed from really warm to cold, but it wasn't a problem. One thing is that you totally should take slippers with yourself or you have to pay 5-8 euros for them. But overall it's a good hotel to stay in.

Located close to pretty much everything, ~15min walk to old town. Clean rooms, nice service, great breakfast buffet. Recommend!

Good breakfast and friendly staff (though not everyone) beds could be more comfortable , especially the rollaway bed when ordered for an extra person in a double superior room. Rooms were quite small for 3 people. Good location near the train station and a shopping center.

We are satisfied with the room and service. The room is clean and spacy. The location is near to tram stations and many shopping malls. 10 min walk to the old town. Quite convenient to walk to surrounding restaurants. The breakfast is nice.

Overall nice place.

A very nice hotel to stay. I spent here 7 nights, a weekend for leisure and rest for business.
Room was quite comfy, bathroom is clean and all room is well equipped with closet, desk with drawers so you have enough place to store all your things.
The location for me was perfect. Just a distance walking to all old city and northern parts of the city which are beautiful too.
The gym is very small and in a close room without windows and a bit stifling.
It’s possible to use the sauna and jacuzzi during the morning but the sauna never worked. Maybe I had to asked in the reception as no one used it when I came.
Breakfast is good. Not the best quality of ingredients. Had better ones but still was much more then enough and fresh.
This is my 3rd trip to Riga this year. Before I stayed in Mercure that is opposite to here and Wellton in the old city. All about the same.
Staff here are very nice and helpful!
Just one thing to improve - you don’t get this little bottles with Shampoo, Bath gel and Conditioner. There are small dispensers of gel for hair, body and hand wash. Bring your own.response / report this review -

The staff were not the warmest, friendliest people, but were helpful enough. We had a bit of a mix up upon checking in here we received a double bed instead of a twin, but the staff were very helpful in amending this. Additionally, our shower did not drain properly and when we mentioned it upon checking out they were very swift to sort it (one of the receptionists glided off with a note with the details). The hotel location is excellent. We walked everywhere we needed to go around the town. The breakfast had a good variety of food. I would stay again, the main thing I think this hotel could improve on would be the friendliness of staff (stony faces are not very welcoming).

Very nice hotel in a lesser nice area. Lots of "interesting" people the second you leave the hotel. Very nice room and a decent breakfast. I enjoyed the hotel lounge the most. Excellent cappuccinos served there.

In love with this hotel.
The room was perfect. I loved the bathroom with all the little details in the walls and ceiling.
Plenty of food and variety in breakfast buffet.
Recommend.

The Tallink Hotel was an unexpected good surpise! I found not only a fancy-style hotel, but everyone working there was very friendly. The room was clean and nice, just about the right size! Price was excellent and the location very good as well! And very important I felt safe in the neighborhood all the time!
