Great place, great ambiance. Live bands in weekends and wide arrange of beers. They do have nice persons behind the bar and nice visitors. bit alternative, one of the fewer places in town to find them like this

One of the few underground places in Riga. Every now and then they host some good shows. There are 2 floors, the basement one is where the stage and "disco floor" rooms are located. All in all, it's a pretty small of a venue and it gets pretty crowded durring some better known band shows, but hey, there's always a price to pay :D

Although the place looks run down and grungy (which it is). Depo is the heart and soul of Latvian alternative culture movement. The stained walls have witnessed the first concerts of most Latvian rock and metal bands. Every Wednesday and weekends Depo is hosting concerts and events. The drinks are priced moderately.

It's not really that we hated the place. Yes, the drinks were affordable and the staff nice (I guess), but our main problem was that this was a nazi bar. Me and my girlfriend are pretty liberal people, but a bit of ol' nationalist radicalism doesn't really rock our boat. If you have buddies that like to wear white cone shaped attire you'll fit right in, if not, probably best to avoid this place.
