Great atmosphere and facilities; the hostel is themed around amber in a welcoming and cozy way. The first floor (private rooms) where we stayed was much nicer than the second floor (shared dorms) in terms of attention to detail. Kitchen was lovely and staff was nice. However, beds were quite horrible and I could barely sleep in the two nights I spent there - the metal bars holding the matress are bent and the matress is worn so I was sleeping on bent metal bars and my back greatly resented it.

Superb location and great accommodations, great prices and friendly staff, 24hr kitchen and considerably big rooms. Bathroom is nice as well. But the sign on the street should be bigger.

Very cheap prices for a good situation. Clean
And the most important the young lady at the desk is very polite, kind and professional. She will consider all your demands and help as much as she can.
The only reason I didn't put 5 stars is the breakfast wich consist only in porridge and coffee there is nothing else. But I'll still recommend it if you want something good and cheap in the old town of Riga.

Friendly staff, good facilities, perfect location. Walls are a bit thin so if you sleep lightly it might be an issue. Very good value for money. Would definitely recommend it and I will return.

Quite comfortable, and very clean. I got upgraded for the twin bedroom for free. Location is ideal! Bit difficult to find the first time!

В принципе нормальный чистый хостл, есть номера с общим душем, есть отдельные. Если вам просто надо пережить где то пару дней, то здесь это будет дороговато.

L'habitació era normaleta: petita, els coixins molt petits i els matalassos molt prims. Vam demanar habitació amb lavabo, però només hi havia dutxa (una molt bona dutxa, això sí). L'esmorzar no era gran cosa: iogurts a la nevera i cafè que t'havies de preparar tu amb un colador que vés a saber com funcionava La cosa bona és que era cèntric, al costat de la catedral.

The Amber room hostel was situated in a convenient and central place. The rooms were comfortable and everything worked well. The toilet and shower were clean and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Deffinetly worth of your money. Thank you.
