It was okay because the room was basic but clean. No fridge, no kettle. Car park was really tiny. Biggest disappointment was breakfast, selection was really limited for the price. They didn't even have proper coffee, tasted like instant with milk powder.

Modern hotel in town, higher level than usual for an Ibis. Good breakfast, room was clean and provided with everything needed. Wifi connection works well, free parking for just a little number of cars. Personnel is kind and available, Zalgirio Arena at walking distance, a little mall.nearby can be useful for some shopping. Ibis kitchen and grill serves good food during the day.

A very nice surprise! The room was clean, warm, HUGE shower and beautiful bathroom. Comfortable bed, there was not too much noise coming in from the street, okey you can hear the trolleybuses come and go but it did not bother me. The A/C seemed not to do anything, it didn't give me extra heating during the night and it didn't cool down the room when i was directly in the sunlight. The breakfast was absolutely amazing,they even had smoked salmon with fresh ciabatta. Something i had only seen in a hilton before.

I had a really nice staying here. The staff is more than welcome and ready to give a help when needed. Very quiet and peaceful hotel, despite my room was at the bulevard side. It is at very good position. The bus station is just behind and the train station is very close, just 7 min of walking. The centre and pedestrian street are very close and easy to reach. One of the best shooping malls in Kaunas is about 500m from the hotel.

Excellent hotel, the young man (I can't remember his name, I know he wanted to be a lawyer or car mechanic) at reception couldn't do enough for us Australians. He has a great future ahead. Best of luck to him, and Ibis Kaunas' staff.

A little bit out of the way from the heart of the town on Laisves Aleja.

Part of my holiday involves socialising with local friends and enjoying a good meal and a drink.

Apart from the Akropolis mall nearby, there isn't that much variety in the hotel's vicinity.

However in terms of transport links, you're 'next door' to the bus station and on the road along from the train station.

If your stay is going involve having a base to 'move from' and commute on bus or train, it's a great place to stay.

The price is reasonable. The staff is very nice and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean, but it is clearly a chain hotel, so it lacks some personality. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. Also, it is very close to the train and bus station.

Overall I really like this place. Especially for longer stays. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The staff is really warm and friendly. The restaurant is surprisingly good, all the dishes have exceeded my expectations. The burgers are homemade (fresh ground beef). I would eat here even if I wasn't staying at the hotel.

Not one of the more stylish Ibis hotels but very friendly and helpful. We phoned last minute and arranged to arrive a day early and then turned up late at night but they coped cheerfully and efficiently with us. Breakfast is good with the usual mix for most European tastes.
