Lux location for a cocktail at sunset. Food seemed good but not remarkable.

Lovely view, nice but basic rooms and an owner with a slight obsession with passive aggressive notes.
The owner here runs a tight ship, attentive staff, good breakfast and a stunning view.
It was slightly off-putting having notes pinned to the bathroom door about both washing, hot water usage and where to put your used toilet roll (in the bin, not the toilet).
The hotel is a short but steep walk up a road/track with unlit sections, so the torch on my phone got a workout. It is also at the higher end of pricing, compared to other hotels in the area, but didn't feel like bad value.response / report this review -

Excellent guesthouse. I stayed here 3 nights and would have stayed longer if I didn’t need to keep moving. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The common areas were a nice place to relax after a long hike in the hills, with lots of chairs, sun lounges and hammocks. The view was stunning!! I had an Ayurvedic massage at the in house spa which I recommend. I ended up eating at the guesthouse every night because the food was so good. Breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka.

Our best place in Sri Lanka so far. The views are stunning, the rooms spotless, comfy beds, very good staff who are happy to help and give advice, good walking straight from the door, what's not to like

Absolutely wonderful guest house. Food amazing. Rooms clean. Staff extremely helpful.
No air con. Up a very narrow steep road so the guest house has their own minibus to take you up, or you can walk (5 min) or get tuk tuk.response / report this review -

They dosent provide accomodation for drivers. They dosent say about this when booking but after come they do. Even you do direct booking its the same. Dont promote to any guest
