  Love this place. Other than his jewllery Zam Rifai Haj spends so much on charity. Even re-built a school. You could get a satisfaction that your expense went also for a good course!

  The ZAM Gems at the Cinnamon Lakeside is by far the WORST Jeweler in Colombo. Their name and the beautiful products will tempt you to go to them, but their workmanship and customer service is horrible. I purchased a Blue Sapphire and Diamond Ring with white gold in December 2014 and one of the diamonds fell 3 months after purchasing it. I only wear the ring for special occasions and not for everyday wear. I live in the US so when I went back to Colombo in April 2015, I asked them to fix my Diamond. Even though the manager remembered me as a customer, they said without the receipt they couldn’t do anything. Since my receipt was in the US, I told them to check their system since the ring was only bought 6 months prior. They said they cannot check customer info like that. I offered to pay for the diamond to be fixed and they finally fixed it. When I returned to US, a month later, one of the Diamonds fell again. Since I wasn’t going back to SL anytime sooner, I went to my Jeweler in New York and they showed me how bad the workmanship of the ring was through a magnifying glass. They replaced my diamond and 2 months later another diamond fell. When I took it back to the New York Jeweler they advised unless I completely remake my ring the diamonds will continue to fall off due to the poor quality of workmanship. I was furious since I had paid SO MUCH $$ for that ring.
  
  I also bought a blue sapphire and diamond pair of earrings to match my ring in April 2015 when I visited the ZAM GEMS store at Cinnamon Lakeside. When I returned back to US, one of the earrings was entirely lost due to the poor back piece they had on the earring. My advice is stay away from this horrible Jeweler and save your money to use at another Jeweler who will give you value for money.
