  Watagoda railway station is at between Great Western and Talawakelle railway stations. Watagoda railway station is wonderful railway station of Sri Lanka.Watagoda is situated in the hardest section of the Main Line that train changes its traveling direction 9 times from Talawakele to Watagoda within 5km.

  The station was built by British and it is one of the oldest structures in Srilanka. Only the locals use this station because its not an area for tourism.
