  Amazing railway station in the upcountry surrounded by mountain ,tea estates.Have a great experience with Up country railway line.Thalawakele railway station is at between Kotagala and Watagoda railway stations. Today Thalawakele is famous place today because Upper Kothmale power station project, tunnel and main reserviour is at Thalawaakele area.
