Had visited the park as the very first thing I saw in nuwara eliya and to be really honest, the place is just fine. You get to see a lot of greenery as you expect from a park and it is well maintained as well. But 300 rupees entry fee for the park doesn't make any sense. Have seen many bigger, better and we'll maintained parks in so many countries for free. It's not like a Royal Park or anything, just a normal park.

One of the best and loved places by the kids. Located in the middle on Nuwara Eliya town. So beautiful with colorful flowers during the summer time.
Had a separate play area for kids with a train ride and various other items.
Perfect place to spend some relax time.
    too popular during April.

One of the popular botanical park in Nuwara Eliya. Very beautiful with wide range of flowers. There is a children park with a little train running around it. The park located next to the main bus stand and there also plenty of parking aroud the park. It has two access and exit gates.

It's a nice garden with good landscaping. Has children's park in adjacency. Good for strolls. However they close by 1830-45.
There's an entry fee. Also has a small kiosk inside selling tea and snacks.

Very much enjoyed the pleasant oasis of Victoria Park. It is a lovely place to explore or sit and there is a lovely little museum with fascinating photos. The loos are basic to say the least but cleanish. There are places to buy drinks and snacks. The plants could be better tended. The staff are doing the best job possible but resources seem limited.

For the 200 entrance fee for foreigners you get a park which is not well maintained and everywhere is lying garbage around.
At the gate and inside of the park we was 3 times asked if we have a ticket. The second guy even wanted to take our tickets, so i guess we would have need to pay at the third security again. (Scam?)
Good that we insisted at keeping our tickets.
All together really not worth a shot and they should consider to fire some security and get some cleaning personal/gardeners instead

Maintenance especially at children's play area is very poor. Not even slightest consideration for children's safty. Concrete slabs with pointed edges just under climbing equipment. So many people visiting the garden surely should generate reasonable income for maintenance. Smart entry ticket but torn at gate. Need more maintenance

The park is in the busy Nuwara Eliya city limit. So, it is nice to have such a nice place in busy city area to have some rest and relax. There are some activities for kids. Have car park in front of the park. Some restaurant options and shopping options available on next door to the park.

Nice place. Limited parking (LKR 100.00) bit expensive. If you happen to come to Nuwara Eliya you should visit this beautiful place.

Very expensive they told us 50 rs for each person and 100Rs for the vehicle. I gave money. But they only issue vehicle parking ticket only. Then i go back and ask them where is ticket for person. Then they gave me the tickets

Another beautiful place at Nuwara eliya.
Not many flowers in the off season, but during the April season the garden blooms with flowers and enchanting beauty. For locals the entry ticket is Rs.40.
Good relaxing place to enjoy with your kids.
There are two entrences and you have to park your vehicle outside the park as there is no dedicated vehicle park.

Not a bigger place like Royal botanical garden or Hakgala park but still an eco friendly, urban park.

The ticket is 40 rupee for local and 300 for foreigners. If travelling from overseas, don't waste money on this place. It's a small, simple and old park.

Nice well kept garden but didn't feel it was worth the 300 rupee ticket price, especially given that locals pay 40.

Good and safe play ground for children. Even adults can ride the small train. Nice garden with different sections. Several food stalls are also available.
