It's a magical place. If there was a viewing point it would be more magical. Nevertheless we had a great time there. The drive to the top of the piduruthalagala is mesmerizing too.

It was my first visit to Piduruthalagala. Map shows a very narrow road to the entrance. But, there is a much better road. At the entrance, you have to fill a form regarding your vehicle and passengers, which should be then handed over to armed forces personnel . Then you can drive to the top of the mountain. There is a good car park with ample parking. It is so windy on the top with a picturesque view. It nice to have a coffee with hot rottee. There is temple as well , which is said to be blessing for children who sit for grade 5 scholarship.

The highest mountain of Sri Lanka. I was lucky to visit a very clear day on to the summit. Panoramic view of 360 degrees. You can clearly see Adam's Peak from one side through the other mountains. Also Kirigalpotta 2nd highest peak of the country and Thotapla beleived to be 3rd one can be seen with Agra range and along with Horton Plains and Ambewela area. And Cronical Hill too from the same side. Someone clearly identify Nuwaraeliya city and Gregory's Lake in close. The other side you can see Ramboda hills and far beyond may be up to Knuckles range. Also Mandaramnuwara area can be seen sometimes with thick cloud.

Must see place. One of the highest points in Nuwara Eliya. Well motorable. But do not litter. Entry is by permit which tends to be tedious but then who cares if one is on a holiday.

I couldn't believe I'm in Sri Lanka. This was astonishing. Breathtaking views all-around. The gates at the bottom of the road to mountain close at 4.30 pm, so if you are planning a visit try reach the gate before this. There's only a tiny tea hut at the top, you better be prepared with your own food.

Very nice place of the Sri Lanka, and the highest point of the beautiful Island. Religious place, Sri Padaya also can be seen beautifully on the south western side. Enjoy cool, calm and beauty of nature.

The talest place in the country. Not allowed to enter to the peak point for security reasons. Make sure you get permission from defence ministry before you visit the place.

Piduruthalagala is the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. There's a bit of a drive to the top, but once there the views are breathtaking. Great photo spot!
