Kurinchikumaran temple at University of Peradeniya is a worship place where hindu students , all other university students & people from Srilanka and other countries come to pray the Lord Murugan. Daily Niththiya pooja and special evening pooja on fridays with singing devottees songs are held regularly.A 10 days of Alankara utsavam is celebrated annually as the 10 th day comes on Thaipoosam. Other than these, special days for murukan and sivarathri and other utsavams are held.The people from all over the world come and pray the lord murukan
