Worst customer experience as expected from government department. Making a appointment online will give you priority and opportunityto select a time slot. Otherwise you may get the token from the counter. However only limited number of tokens issued per day. Its better to book online.

A lot of room for improvements.

    • On Site Directions are unclear.
    • No waiting area for public.
    • Not in a suitable building or location for a government institute.

    Instructions based on experience.

    01. Book your number online.
    02. Expect a long queue.
    03. Wear easily removable footwear.
    04. Wear trousers that can easily be rolled up to knees.
    05. Don't wear long sleeve shirts.
    06. Listen carefully to verbally given instructions.

    Steps to take
    01. Get your number from the front desk / security. Tell them if you have booked online.
    02. When your number is called go to the area where your picture is taken. You have to provide your NIC here.
    03. Then go to the blood type testing area.
    04. Then await until your number is called to test your vision and physical examination.
    05. Then wait outside until they bring the Medical Certificate. Before leaving check that all the necessary information is correctly filled and stamped in the Medical Certificate.

Worst customer experience as expected from government department. Making a appointment online will give you priority. Otherwise you may get the token from there which may be close after issuing certain number of tokens.

Due to the covid 19 situation. Many drivers were unable to obtain these medical certificate due to offices not working. This is the 3rd day coming to get a number. As only a limited number of tickets are issued.
Staying in the queue since 3.30 am.. Having around 100 people in the queue as at 5 am.

    No parking spots.
No shade for the people In the queue.

Need at least one more place in kandy or to increase the number of tickets issued to obtain these medical certificates.

    Total time waste.

The security was good and gave clear instructions.

It's the only place we can take a medical report for the driving licence in Kandy district. It's a bit far from the town is a little annoying. And it's always crowded with people. So it takes a lot of time to get a medical report

This is the only medical assessment center in Kandy for driver's license renewal and new license requests. A government service. Usually crowded in all the days. Nearly take 3+ hours to test and provide a medical certificate for a person. Charges are LKR 800. Accepts only cash. No parking slots are available for visitors. No priority appointment is needed. Service is provided on first come first serve basis. It is advised to wear a less right dress when you go for medical assessment.

Don't expect professional and polite address from the staff. They lot deal with heavy vehicle drivers and private conductors. Average waiting time around 11/2 to. 2 hours. No parking facilities available. You have to park your vehicle along the road. Photos will be taken by them. Basically eyesight, blood group, physical fitness checked. This is the place available to obtain medical certificate for driving license for people live in Central province.
