I ordered beef burger. It was awful. Chewy pieces inside and very salty. I really wonder if it was beef at all. When we were at the restaurant I saw at least two other people who sent their food back. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Great food, very friendly and helpful service, relaxed atmosphere.
It was our last meal in Sri Lanka and unfortunately the most disappointing of the trip (even though we were going on the lonely planet recommendation). The Tom Yum soup was great, but all the other dishes were pretty bad. The vegetable curry was very salty, with no other flavour. The tuna was dry and overcooked and came with fries, despite rice being requested. The spring rolls were too doughy with not enough filling and were served with ketchup - not really the right dipping sauce!
Get here at no reasons! Waiter tried to scam us. Food we've got wasn't food we've ordered. Rude waiters. Keep away from this place.
Yes.
The - optional served - garlic sauce is perfection, the mango salad dressing as well, main fish dishes are the way to go. the waiters are service orientated = all adds up to a wonderfull dinner experience if you don't feel disturbed by the traffic (tuktuk) noise, which is constant
With such an extensive menu, we were spoilt for choice but ended up ordering the seafood platter, the chilli crab, grilled prawns and chicken masala that was highly recommended on TripAdvisor.
All seafood we're done well, with the seafood platter being the highlight. The chilli crab was better than what we had in Sri Lanka so far, but do note that the crab were rather small in size- same as every other seafood restaurant we dined in Sri Lanka.
The only disappointing item was the chicken masala, which we found to be too overcooked and dry. Give it a miss and splurge on seafood instead!
We came here during our last night’s stay in Sri Lanka, and I have to say, there food is not great compared with other Sri Lankan restaurants. They didn’t have vegetable curries so we ordered a fish curry and chicken curry, also seafood chowder to start. The fish chowder was very average, tasted like tinned soup with seafood added to it. The fish curry and the chicken curry were quite chewy, the meat was tough and it was super spicy even though we ordered medium spicy - all we could taste was chilies. The portions were fine but the price was expensive compared to other restaurants we’ve been to in other parts of Sri Lanka. Overall it’s a bit overrated and a bit of a rip off. The service was fine. I wouldn’t come here again if i stay in Negombo again.
Nice restaurant that serves delicious seafood! Waiters are very nice and food service is quick!
Had dinner here on our first night in Sri Lanka. Great start. Good food for a good price. Had a nice chat with the owner.
1 of the good places for food in Negombo. Very nice setting. And affordable
Very Good Food and Service. Good Price too.
Good food. Good service. Lankan owned. Bottomless-ish fries.
Really enjoyed our dinner. Loved the curry rice - well worth the short wait for the four different curries to be prepared. The vegetable spring rolls and deserts were wonderful.
Very nice restaurant, tasty food and beer is cheap. Big point!!! Highly recommended!
The best food we had in Negombo, and beers were cheap, too.
Good food, great service and what else you could possibly ask...
Very nice restaurant located nearby Pledge 3. The service is very good, a good variety of food, especially seafood. It's just not very clear as to the opening time of the restaurant, as it's not yet opened when we arrive at around 12 noon.
Great food. Friendly service and attentive. We came back twice!
