A calm & serene place to visit on the enchanting coastal belt of the Matara Polhena beach.Even the buildings with their suroundings are fine testimonies to it.

Excellent spa treatment for outside guests too. I was quoted $55 per night B&B for a quiet retreat, right opposite the beach and far from the main road.

    * Location: secluded beach area in Marata, 7 km after Mirissa (average)
    * From Outside: weird access, nice branding (average)
    * Welcome: papaya juice, smiles by receptionist and workers (average)
    * Room: (we rejected the first room offered to us because it has an outdoor bathroom) a lot of mosquitos, some worms on floor and ceiling, no TV, no fridge, shower towels had a weird material, no additional towels for face, no cutleries, no tissue, no drinking water, bad Wifi coverage (below average)
    * Restaurant: nicely placed, very delicious food and drinks, service was very slow, a lot of mosquitos, waiters are very friendly and sociable

    To be continued

Found a bed bug running across the bed of the first room we were shown. The manager seemed uninterested and disbelieving to start with. The photos shown are from when the decor was new, it is now a little more tired. Having said all this it's a nice place. Turtles can be seen over the road in the morning. The food was good.

The welcoming was a good one with nice and tasty juice.during the stay of the property the food stuff provided were good.It was the good side of the resort.the place was not so attractive than expected when 1st looked at from photographs.room rate is not favorable enough when compared to room facilities provided.we were asked whether bill will be settled during the check in.There was no TV even to watch 10 minutes.no door between the bathroom the main room.a good place with a nicely surrounded beaches but can be recommended if above upgrades can be done.suitable for foreign travelers.
