  Cool people, good location and huge sea turtles that cruise the beach that you can snorkle with.

  Absolutely wonderful hostel vibe, with a fabulous, knowledgeable manager (Sydney). There are rooms with and without AC as well as dorms, and a common kitchen. Also a small apartment in the back. For the price, I think it's the best choice in the area. Bikes for rent or even free for an hour or two. Also scooters for rent and snorkeling equipment. Snorkeling right out the front door, and a nice, quiet beach 200 meters down the road to the west. I had an awesome time here and stayed about five days longer than planned.

  10 Dec 2016: Made reservations on Booking.com for 1,943 Sri lankan ruppees for 3 nights in a 4 bed dorm room. I arrived to find a women in charge who just started working using Workaway (she was was Sweet but was not trained yet) I waited over 2 hours to check in. The manager finally arrived and told me that price was wrong and I would need to pay more. I told him that will be a horrible review if this happens. He immediately snapped, started yelling at me "I do not like your attitude and you will never stay here, leave now or I call the police" FYI it's 9pm, dark and in a new area, kicked out with no where to go.
  
  This guesthouse/hostel has been the single most horrible experience I have ever been in. Mind you I have been traveling the world for almost 5 years straight and this is the first time something like this has happened.
  
  Luckily I met an amazing local couple and I stayed with them this night.
  
  PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE, CURRENTLY I'M ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT THE OWNER WHO IS IN HOLLAND. IF ANYONE READS THIS AND KNOWS THE OWNER CAN YOU PLEASE SEND ME THEIR EMAIL.

  Nice People. Rooms are Ok. 2500rps/room or 700rps for dorms. They have bikes to rent and a little kitchen. The beach is close by.
