not good value for money. there’s a pool at the reception area. run down hotel which is still quite pricey. bathroom not

Good swimming pool, beach accessible, rooms spacious, will be better if a safe is provided. View from room is awesome! Cleanliness is okay.

A very okay hotel to very little price. Rooms are old and not maintained. We were promised a TV and phone, but none of those things were on the room.

Location is excellent, right by the beach and plenty of restaurant,nice swimming pool and restaurant looking out of the sea, food in restaurant is good, good price, good portion.The areas and the room it's clean, staffs nice and friendly, especially Mr Ramesh (own travel agent along side the hotel, could arrange travel around Srilanka and airport pickup and drop off, spoke excellent English). Areas need improvement it's the bathroom (need better tap for the sink (the taps wobble and need plugs inserted and hot water in shower), need instructions on how to use plugs so people can charge their devices.

Topaz Beach Resort is A+. The view of the beach, palm trees and Indian Ocean are sweet as. There is a good night market on the beach nearby, selling snacks, like peanuts, deep fried crunchy treats, ice cream and other items for cheap. The restaurant meals and breakfast buffet are delicious. There is hot water in the shower. The grounds are excellent, as are the pool & quality customer service. The staff, from the cleaners, bell hop, managers, to the front desk receptionist are all on their game (very good). The grounds and facilities are quant. My wife said: "It's just like the '70s". It makes us nostalgic for times of yesteryear. Enjoyed the balcony for sunsets & chillaxin. There is a library of books to read, an aquarium, as well as a travel agent. They also washed my clothes. Daily housekeeping & water. The young, young at heart and families will all enjoy this place. Come, if you want to enjoy your stay in Negombo and Sri Lanka.

Hotel was located in beautiful beach front. I stayed in a super deluxe room..Rooms are quite big, and comfortable. Bathroom has a nice large..they have a good variety of food and I can rate 5 star for the food..
