Friendly staff and owner.
well maintained old styled bunglow with comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and stylish indoor decorations. Very calm place.

Service Staff. Very Friendly

Bedroom and bathroom was clean.
Provided with towels, liquid soap and toilet paper.

Just need to change or shampoo the carpets will be great.

Good Basic Western Style Breakfast.

Poor WiFi Signal in the room.
Better to stay next the Reception for Full Signal

This is an old colonial style bungalow. Old but well maintained and luxury enough for a mid range hotel. Rooms are cleaned and cozy. Owners and the staff are friendly and helpful. They have couple of rooms with a traditional wood fire place. Overall my stay on there was a nice experience and can recommend for people who are looking for some peaceful vacation in Nuwaraeliya.

Our family had a wonderful weekend break at THE TREVENE. The location is very convenient. The owners were around us to make sue that we are comfortable. The hotel is very clean, quite and cozy. Nice food and service. Hotel Manager Udana was very friendly and helpful all the time.

On a recent surfing holiday to Sri Lanka we travelled back to the airport via Nuwara Eliya. We stayed a night at The Trevene. Although basic it is a lovely place to stay with great and helpful staff, a nice breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Consider The Trevene if you are going that way. Bob & Pete. Australia

We loved staying here the garden is a pefect place to relax with a pot of tea the manager encourages the guest to mingle and we spent a lovely evening chatting with other guests by the roaring fire after a lovely dinner

Lovely house up on a slight hill. Easy to get to town from here. Dinner was good. Rooms felt a bit damp but that might be due to the rain all afternoon. They light a fire when it's cold :)
