Closed at the moment due to "bug infection"
Very good restaurant and entertainment also
Very bestplace to stay ñice atmosphere
By 4.00pm, we had already checked into Galway Forest Lodge. To start off, tea with some snacks were served, thereafter we headed to the nearby area for a boat ride and to admire the invigorating mountain climate and scenery resembling our Cameron Highlands. Back to the hotel, we had dinner and requested for a portable heater to keep warm in the colonial style room facing the plantation. Clean and comfy to night away.
Nice place to stay but quite out side of town.
A very old Hotel, poor service due to shortage of servants. Unfriendly.
Bed bug infestated. Rooms are damp and musty. Hotel staff are incompetent. Pretty much bad all round.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed bed were full of bugs rooms. Toilet was not clean, suffocated room, staff was not friendly, it's not even one star hotel.. worst experience of my life
It is worst hotel I had ever seen. No A/C, No fans. Suffocated so opened window and allowed the mosquitos in. No mosquito repellent in the room. Toilets were clogged. No proper water outlet. WC flush not working,.
Suggest do not even think of this hotel if you wish to visit Nuwaraelia. The staff does not understand english. When complained they just laughed as if some joke has been told. No hospitality at all.
Worst night in my life.
A 3 star hotel. Value for money place.
Food and service was good. Didn't stay there however. Calypso band over dinner was nice. Rs1900 buffet didn't look too good value, lucky we weren't that hungry
