As such Nuwara Eliya is a hidden gem of Srilanka, a hill station that is replica of India's Munnar or famously called Little England.

This hotel is a kind of service cottage and we booked the Family Deluxe Room. Initially we were reluctant to book a room in a non-corporate hotel, but trust me the way these guys delighted us by their outstanding service was simply amazing. Lahiru, Vikru, Dinesh and Aski were always on their toes to simply make our stay memorable. They didn't leave a stone unturned to make us happy all the time. Special thanks to all the boys for the simple yet hearty breakfast that you served. Also special thanks for cutting that pineapple which we bought from the market.

While check out , your surprise gift simply delighted us. I strongly recommend this hotel for a stay in Nuwara Eliya, although the track to the hotel was sloppy and bumpy, it just added the feeling of a real stay in nature's lap. Take a bicycle ride for free and you may just want to visit this place again and again. Loved everything about this place except WiFi.

Don’t miss their 5:00PM tea tour! We were so lucky just arrived around that time and they kindly wait for us to finish the tea and cookies!
The tea tour is amazing with beautiful sunset!
The breakfast is perfect and the staffs are full of smiles all the time!
The house is made of wood so there might be some noises when people on the second floor walk around but normally it’s quite at night!so not big issue for us!

Would not stay here again. Mixed experience. Stayed here for two days on our trip to Nuwara Eliya. It's a bit far from the city centre and there isn't much to do close by. The place looks much better on the booking websites than it really is. The approach road is bad. Our taxi from the train station dropped us on the main road, and we dragged our bags to the guest house. The staff could see us but didn't attempt to help till we got to the very entrance. The ?manager (Nalli)had a generally blasé take on service. We told him about the broken toilet seat and no curtains on the windows and his response was saying that's just how it is. Refused to give an extra bottle of water.
At 103 USD per night, I expect much better.

The service was better the next day, when he was away on leave and we dealt with the other staff, who were really helpful and lovely. The two stars are for them, otherwise I would've given it one star.
