  Good clean place to stay with Air conditioning and comfortable rooms. Priced very reasonable. Nice well kept lawn with a lot of little wildlife frolicking around. Easy to find just off the main road.

  Stayed for 3 nights on last week. Horrible service experienced. Duty Manager "Mr. Lal Karunasena" was the most unpleasant hotel Manager ever met. Requested a fan for drivers room. No pedestal fan for entire hotel. Then wait till 9.00 pm to meet Manager till he comes for duty from his room within the hotel area. When we came to meet him at 9.10pm he is having dinner with some of his friends. When a waiter asked to meet shouted at him as "Can't you see, I am eating" to heared us. Then we decided to pay for an extra bed and keep the driver with our room. When we asked for an iron in the morning, telephone operater said have to wait till Manager come to the seat and sign to open the room where iron is kept. Even after asking for the room servicing water bottles, never recieved them. No any extra service at all. Untasty, not worthy food with higher price tags.
  Spacious rooms in average good and comfortable condition. But never expect even an average service from this hotel. (It seams to be other hotel staff are tought from that Manager whose not suitable even as a helper of a retail shop)

  Absolutely atrocious service. Your 1st impression is everything in hospitality and ours was simply a failure. It was stinking hot, we arrived and asked for lunch. It was almost 2pm and so we were informed it would take an hour.maybe an hour 15 for a meal.
  
  Ok, lets have a drink?
  Please take a seat and I'll check.
  
  15 minutes later still no idea if we can get a meal and its still stinking hot. Eventually the same person comes out and starts chatting to the other staff in the reception/verandah.
  Enough!
  If the kitchen is closed then say "kitchen is closed". If it is open then seat us and take our order. What is unforgivable is that we waited 15 minutes obviously very hot and no one had the courtesy to offer us a drink. This is supposed to be a resort and so I have to assume the kitchen must cater for the guests..?
  When i got up and said we will go, they were all happy?
  I have been to Sri Lanka twice and this time for 5 weeks living in the farm villages not in fancy hotels. I got better service from the local short eats place. Hospitality 101.fail!
  
  As for the Rice and Curry, sadly I cannot comment and now I have no desire to.

  We went there a for quick lunch and loved the food and surroundings..Staff services were great too..It is a great peaceful place for dine with family and friends. Food and drink prices are very reasonable and quality was great too..

  Really nice place, clean, typical Sri Lankan ambience, good for rice and curry. Won't recommend it much for the western grills. All in all..looking for a lunch spot which is much better and more wallet friendly than those expensive hotels?this is it!
