We stayed lovely 2 nights in a cabin facing the lake. Heavenly location, surrounded by tea fields and vegetable gardens, right by this stunning lake. Spacious room, kind and helpful staff (especially Raju). An on-demand incredible chef picks up fresh ingredients from the farm, and brings delicious meals, best we've had in Sri lanka. An amazing place to relax from the roads. Highly recommended!!
Woooooooow,my best place in Hatton dick oya area, lake view hotel in around tea plantation, good weather and cool climate,I stay there as 2 night, it was great, nice food make by friendly chef at restaurant,I recommend this resort,
Good place to stay and nice view around the location. You can rent a bike and do cycling around the Castlereigh reservior.
There are plenty of space in the Deluxe king rooms but the privacy is less. Because the curtains they used are see through.
Foods are average but you have to wait at least 30 minutes to get the order.
The place is really amazing. You can find in this area all the culinary culture of sri lanka.
From coffee, tea, vegetables, spices all are made directly at the farm.
Keat the manager will take time to teach you sir lankan culinary stuff and history. The chef is great, it was our best curry in sri lanka.
We regret the lack of activities to do directly on the farm and around (except adam’s peak), but it was our first stop of our trip and it is a very special place, especially to handle the jet lag.
The location is beautiful. But food in the restaurant sometimes took really long time, even though there were not many people around. And also the rooms are wrongly represented on their website as well as booking websites.
This is a great place to stay, particularly if your looking to rewind and relax. It has comfortable, private rooms; beautiful scenery and delicious food using produce from their own vegetable garden. The manager is also friendly and helpful, with decades of experience in the hotel industry and perfect English and German. Look forward to staying here again
The gem on the way from Sri Pada to Nuwara Eliya. Big territory of tea plantations, garden and park alleys along the lake side which has an unbelievable green color of water. The host is very intelligent man, who really loves his property and his guests. Lived long tome in Germany and speaks perfect both English and German. We stayed in smallest room in the corner of the park which I'd say has the best view to the lake through the panoramic windows. The cook is hi-class with his own style, so probably you won't be able to try famous Sri Lankian dishes in such implementation. Plus all vegetables are fresh picked from their garden. They have bicycles, hair dryers in every room, umbrellas near every door and European style showers with good pressure.
Awsome place. Food not good
We had a great time at the Farm Resorts. Die place is amazing: next to the beautiful reservoir und between the owners garden and the tea plantations. The food was amazing (but a bit pricey), big thanks to the cook Mani!
The room was clean and well equipped.
