Great place to relax with your loved ones. Staff was very polite and helpful and the food was great. Room had all the star class amenities and really enjoyed the in-room plunged pool.

It's a great place. Friendly staff. Incredible view of seegiriya rock. Very nice pool, games room for little once. Bike rides and more. Great for relaxation. Highly recommended.

An excellent stay which we enjoyed. Well maintained rooms and the entire space. Staff is well trained and there is a conscious effort by them to make sure the guests are enjoying the facility, without invading their privacy. Romantic villa has an indoor pool. Room was spacious. Food was excellent.

My family members and I (4 of us) stayed in the Elphant corridor December last year. It was probably the best hotel we stayed in in Sri Lanka and I highly recommend it to everyone. The room was very spacious and beautiful and there were plenty of things to do in the hotel if you ever got bored of exploring the outdoors. Some examples being bike track (you can rent bikes there), the pub (pool table, board games etc), the pool and the gym.

The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent as well and we had very good staff who paid attention every detail. Besides the food we ordered we also got many complimentary things such as fruit platters and extra dessert! The chef personally came out and greeted us at every meal which I thought was very nice.

The manager and the other staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I can say about my stay was that the gym was a bit small; but who needs to go to the gym on a holiday anyway (biking and running on the track is a good replacement)

Hotels is old, not upgraded with the time. I stayed in a presidential suite but not quite happy with the suite. Bed metres was bit hard and not confortable. AC also poor and it waked me up few times in the night. Anyhow I love that bath room and initial planning of the hotel. Less guests were there at that time and breakfast buffet also very poor. Very limited varieties of food and they didn't refill the fruit juice even.
Staff was very friendly and supportive. Had a good view of ancient rock fortress Sigiriya.

Beautiful, quite place with an excellent view of the Sigiriya Rock. Situated right next to a hidden lake, it’s 72 acres of bliss. They have a decent size pool, a sweet restaurant with very accommodating staff and a bar we didn’t visit. David, the hotel GM in charge went out of his way to make our stay memorable.

Great place and very friendly staff. Defebitly the best hotel we have been in Sri Lanka over the last 10 days. However, the way to arrive to the pool is far and poorly lightened. My girlfriend fell from a 1.5m bridge and could have gotten seriously hurtyou should light up more the passage to the pool.

I had a great stay here. The staff was super friendly, especially Asanka. The villa's are spacious and super nice. The free nature walk and massage was great.

The hotel is 14 years old and they are currently renovating it. So things can be outdated, but I would still recommend this place. I was really sad when I had to leave. Thanks a lot!

Surprisingly Disappointed!!!

I have heard about this hotel years ago from a TV program and always wanted to go there and spend a night. Dream came true recently and I personally recommended this hotel for my employer as a good hotel to stay. For my surprise, I was disappointed about the entire service of the hotel.

We have called three time to contact the hotel to confirm our trip to the hotel but no one answered the phone. Then tried a different number which answered by a person who didn't have any knowledge about reservations and he said he will ask the receptionist to get back to me which never did.

In the morning of the trip I called again and luckily someone who was responsible answered the phone and confirmed the reservation. We asked for a twin bed room in advance and they said they can prepare one and give.

On arrival at the hotel they welcomed us with a drink but they haven't even prepared our room. They asked us to wait 20 mins to prepare it. That kind of delayed our trip to Sigiriya Rock. However, after they have prepared the room we went to it to find an ancient looking room with a spacious and very comfortable room for two person. Room was great though, with a very large bathroom and a small pool attached. Thus, they made us disappointed again with an empty mini bar.

Before we climbed the Sigiriya Rock, we asked them to bring a snack menu, which most three stars and above hotels usually have, and they said they will bring one which they never brought.

After we came back climbing the Sigiriya Rock we wanted to have a swim and asked where the pool was, and they said you have to go there by a buggy car or a bike, but it is closed now because of wild animals could come after 6pm. So we couldn't have a swim but anyway we went there to see how the pool is.

Only thing I like was the breakfast and the peaceful environment. The breakfast was fine and more than enough for two persons. Only bad thing happened was they sent all the beverages in onetime. Like fruit juice, herbal soup, and coffee, all at once. Normally the coffee should come at last

I made this descriptive review not to harm the hotel but to inform the management to make immediate actions to make the hotel run efficiently. Even the smallest thing matters when people come to stay at your hotel. Please put some more attention for the service you provide to make The Elephant Corridor great again!
