For the price this place is great! Great service, amazing food, nice accommodation. A good place to stay if you want to organise a safari.

Five star rating! Place was amazing, stayed for one night and had dinner here. Room was big and spacious with all the facilities you could want. Bathroom again the big and beautifully planned out. Place is family owned and run with every need catered too, including dietary requirements. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Udawalawe!

Let me begin by saying that my stay at the countryside udawalawe was the most pleasurable stay I've had in all of sri Lanka.
The owner and manager Lahiru has built up this fine family run establishment which I can't fault in any way. The service we received was outstanding.
My partner and myself had dinner here and they were so accommodating with our dietary requirements (gluten free).
The rooms were classy, large and with all mod cons you need. Lahiru even organised our transfers to and from, driving us himself to our next destination.
Great value for money, this stay was one of the cheapest we've been in but best by a mile.

It's a very good place to stay, if you want to do a safari. The staff arranges the trip at a reasonable price and you are picked up at the hotel. Breakfast and dinner tasted very good.

Very good accommodation. Clean rooms, awesome bathrooms. Delicious dinner and breakfast and fair prices. The host was very nice and organized a safari for a good price. We would definitely come again.

Awesome villas. Very clean and beautiful. They can arrange safari visits to the Udalawe National Park. The employees are very kind and the food is delicious.

Arriving at The Countryside Adawalawe we were welcomed with a smile. The room was comfortable with great air conditioning the bathroom clean, tidy and spacious. The Sri Lankan style home cooked meals were cook with Love by Lahore sister and the presentation of the meals at the table was first class. The conversation around the dinner table with Lahore were fantastic with a lot of knowledge shared between us all. Would not hesitate to stay there again or just call in to say Hi.
