Almost always on point. The food is consistent and great. Another reason to visit commons with a small or large crowd is the sheer variety they have. They almost certainly have everything available. Great place!

Iced tea and waffles with ice cream from The Commons.
The iced tea was abysmal. They didn't seem to understand the balance between tea to flavour to sugar ratio. And the fact that iced tea is not merely chilled tea. The brewing time plays a huge role in giving the correct tea flavour. Whereas in normal tea, the tea flavour is quite abundant,

This place is really busy at times and could be over crowded. Their dishes are generally pretty good but sometimes I have experienced dishes that are not great. I like the crab meat waffles. And they have good desserts and a good variety of foods and drinks. prices are moderately high but worth the price. They even have outdoor seating area and private dining room. Sometimes this place has small insects and cockroaches.

This place is usually crowded with youth and has lots of seating for large groups. You have to order and pay for the food upfront but the food and beverages are served to you. Quite lively most of the time and finding seating is somewhat tough because of the crowds. There's parking outside for about 12 vehicles and there's roadside parking as well. There is a large variety of food and beverage options but somewhat limited options for dessert. The food and beverages are good and quite affordable.

Food is good.. even though you might feel like would it be enough.. It's a quite a portion people There are enough seating space both inside and outside.. and a separate room as well.. It's a good place to hangout with your friends.. parking is available.. overall it's a good experience 🤗

Place was good but the food are not! First of all they gave us a piece of paper and asked write down what we want. Took more than 30 minutes to get the order and you can't order drinks first either because of their "system". We ordered around 8 distinct items but most of them were bad. Really disappointed with the experience

One of the best Coffee houses in Colombo. The cafe style food is delectable and portions are very generous when ever I'm there. Big fan of their Fish and Chips Tops rhe rest. Service is tad slow, but then good things take time. So take a good chatting partner to kill some extra time😳Bon Appetite!

Coffee was scorching hot, milk was over frothed. Ordered a burger and it came out as a sandwich. Lots of flies hanging around, even inside the Cafe. However, they did try some latte art which was nice and the couches are comfy to sit.

This place is good. Just good. I’d rate the food 3.5/5 and atmosphere and ambience 5/5. One of the best places to hang out with friends. But one thing I despise is the menu. All the prices are WITHOUT tax. This makes it very difficult. Please please include all tax in your price. Just for that I have to give it 3 stars

Great place to chill

This is a great place with great food. There is a variety of waffles , burgers ,hot dogs, pasta, starters and beverages . Te crab roles were great and delicious

There is very comfortable seating both couches and tables. There is one private room but needs pre booking .

Suitable for small groups. There is ample parking and minutes walk from the main bus stops.

Food is nice, but not Awesome. Drinks and desserts are good.

Service varies depending on the waiter serving. I've had good and average experiences here with serving staff. I asked for Tabasco sauce this visit and the waiter said he'll come back with it but never did. Reminded him again, never did. Then asked another waiter and he brought it immediately.

Overall it was a good experience.

Best place to hang out with friends.
There's an outdoor area where you can smoke.
The food is great albeit a bit oily and not very expensive
The seating inside are comfortable
Ask for the WiFi password from the attendants

I came here with few of my friends 2 years ago for a small get together. The food was really great but there was only one thing that I didn't like. It was, there was a Chinese/Korean (Not sure) lady who was starring at us. Hope fully she may be a customer service representative. But that was non of her business to stare at us. Even no smile on her face as well.

The food was great but the prices were very high. Great place to sit and chill and sometimes can be packed. Make sure double check your bill after ordering cause they tend to make mistakes when charging you..

Modern and stylish restaurant with air conditioning and nice place to sit outside. Huge variety of food options, we liked everything we ordered. Open kitchen and professional chefs. We got everything quite fast and the place was very clean although crowded on Saturday. Service could be improved, they mixed up our order twice, but were still friendly and apologized. Slightly overpriced but still okay for what you get.
