Today I went to Akkaraipattu branch Sampath bank to deposit cash. The enterence was blocked by bikes parked. When I informed to security, he answered in ignored way, and shouted at me to talk to manager.

When I informed the manager he shouted at me and misbehaved. He said that " he cant change the attitute of
human" and challenged at me to talk to head office. Poor customer service. No complaint handling, no value to feedback. He talked in a dirty way. No respect for customers. I will never recommend this bank to any friends or family members

One of the best banks in Sri Lanka. Has always been in the front when introducing new products and features to it's customers. Highly recommend. All the branches across the country has good staff and friendly customer service.

Good service, good customer care, you won’t waste your time. However parking is a problem since this is a very busy place near one of the main hospitals in Colombo. You can use Gangarama car park or if you are tricky, you can park your car at nawaloka and just cross the road.

I have several accounts with this unethical bank. On 29th I urgently needed to cancel one my fd and get that money in my saving account in the bank. I sent a official message to do it to the card center manager through sampath vishwa. I think that manager may be blind or cant read messages. I sent three reminders and still that has not happened. Disgusting bank is doing such thing. I will remove all my account from this bank. It is not ur money it is my money

Any branch is good for personal banking. But I don't think that they much interested about corporate banking facilities. One of our corporate banking facility requirement is dragging from one year.

Worst bank. They are super traditional, petty and narrow minded with big ego but no substance to back it up. Terrible and unhelpful service. Not at all flexible or in sync with technology and trends. (Still they do not allow online transactions on debit cards when all other private banks allow, they only offer a terrible piece of plastic called a webcard which doesn't allow withdrawals, also their is no way to get estatements, they have not switched to green banking, very difficult to activate sms alerts; did not allow to do over the phone, very bad customer service call center too) At branch is no better; They refused a withdrawal without passbook when other banks offer electronic statement. They are miles behind the rest of the private banking sector. And also falling in fitch ratings due to bad capitalization. (A+ is rating that even finance company have) So bad stability too. (They used to be good but not anymore) Do not trust them with big amounts. Keep at this bank at your own risk.

One of the pioneers of banking in Sri Lanka who introduced the ATM to the country. Progressive and offers innovative products. However, there seems to be coordination issues. I applied for a Credit Card (CC) and was a little irritated with the process. In addition, the CC products are complicated. However, they have good partnerships with merchants and offer good deals. Overall, thier system and people need to be more coordinated.
