Excellent rooms. Spacious and high ceilings. Good ventilation and lighting. Beach view. Courteous and helpful staff. Continental cuisine mostly with few local dishes. But it's a relatively small establishment. So if you need any special requests for sea food, inform the management day before and they will arrange it the following day. I had a very enjoyable visit.

Um where do I startsmells from drains . The buffet lunches were uncovered flies allowed to contact food. Woke up first morning to shower in cold water spoke to management 4 times before being restored . My son slept with a room with mosquitoes because the window wouldnt shut. Then there was the serious issue management allowed a group of Korean guests to cooking their catch of fish themselves IN THE HOTEL KITCHEN. This is a very serious risk to every other guest. The otber issue was sranding in the shower only to discover that house keeping staff left no towels!

Very Nice and clean room, lots of space. Bed's are a a little over 1.90 meters (6 foot, 4 inches) but comfortable.

This is a mini beach resort . A quiet and comfortable place to stay. The staff are very friendly and the rooms are large.

Lovely quiet small hotel with a lovely pool right next to the sea. Food was simple but good.perfect for our first night of our tour. Just be careful around the pool as the floor can get very slippery

Budget friendly - superb location! Pool has a roof to cover half of the distance incase it's too hot to get tanned :) Food 8/10

Only stayed one night after a late flight into Colombo.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable (if a little short). Western breakfast was the standard for Sri Lanka, nothing special.
I'd stay there again.

I read some reviews and thought of giving this hotel a try. When I called they informed they have a lunch buffet on Sunday. So me and my family went their during lunch. The welcome we had was really nice.

The looks from the hotel and atmosphere was brilliant. There were some people smoking in the garden but I think its because the bar was just next to it. As panned we wanted to go for the buffet but when we had a look at it first we could not find any exciting dishes. They had like fried rice , chicken deviled , vegetable stir-fry ,pork curry , seafood mix and some salads. For us most of these things are just ordinary food and hence decided to order from the menu. We were steak fans and saw a promising grilled steak with pepper sauce dish that we wanted to try. Price of it was just few bucks below the buffet price. (buffet was 1900 and this was 1500 with tax) anyway we were expecting a really nice dish when compared to the price of it.

Surprisingly after about 30 mins dishes came to our table and we couldn't believe our eyes. Instead of a fresh beef steak they have just given us frozen ready made beef bugger patties. I asked the manger to come and he was justifying it saying they don't get fresh beef here so that they use ready made patties for steaks. For god sake this people don't understand why do people come to restaurants ? if they want to eat frozen patties why can't they fry them at home ? Also beef patties does not consider as a steak. Beef patties are made of mince beef and steak is a beef fillet. Its a simple theory. Anyway after a while manager informed us to have free deserts which we said " No thank you", we have lot of frozen stuff on our fridge.

Anyway to be frank it is the most disappointing lunch I had during my holiday. But I would have to say the staff was very friendly even compered to 5 start hotels. But food quality needs to improve. Chef and Manager should know the basics of food they serve. Mince beef patties are not steaks !! simple as that !!
