Loved this bar! Really cool atmosphere, I like the style. The food is delicious. The drinks are strong, taste great, and reasonably priced. My kind of place!

Good food, portions are relatively ok. However waiters seem to neglect certain types of people and instead favors others. Noticed that waiters who attempt to serve/help customers who don’t seem to want to buy a lot of booze are discouraged by the head waiter.

It is a small pub across two floors in a trendy area in Colombo fort. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great. Entry is somewhat restricted. Difficult to get a table when I went. The prices are a bit steep. They do not have lion beer on tap. They have a live band but the musical atmosphere isn't that great. If you are not budget conscious or are a foreigner this is definitely recommended.

Loved the quietly lit casual lounging ambience here. They offer free cocktails to ladies between 8pm to 9pm. Although these cocktails hardly have any alcohol. Great tasting food - they have a good chef! The staff is friendly and the outdoor lounging area is just dreamy I do feel that they should put bigger coffee tables..

Excellent vibes, good cocktails - the place to be before going out to the clubs !
The staff isn't really good at handling the crowd, they tend to mix up / forget / bring the wrong orders ( I experienced all three on the same night! Yikes! )
If there's that one friend that doesn't drink - give the bill to him/her!
Despite all this Re.Pub.Lk is still a pretty good place to start your night out!response / report this review -

If you're looking for a place where the beer flows like wine you found it because the beer is served at room temperature. For the initiated warm Lion beer tastes like Satan's piss after a healthy serving of asparagus washed down with Mountain Dew.
The food is good though making this more of a restaurant/bar than a bar/restaurant.

Overpriced for sure, but then again every PUB / CLUB in Colombo is.. But the pleasant feeling this place gives, with a low ambience and some kick ass DJ's and a non A/c place for the smokers and a A/C for the drinkers, the combination is phenomenal!! Take you're lover, take your friends, take anyone you'd like and make it the best night with RepubLK!

The place is nice, not a place for two people to enjoy a cheap beer, but if its a group of people looking to hangout and dance a bit it's really nice. And on Thursdays they have a great live band that can make things more interesting.

A good place for dinner and drinks with friends. Impressive interior decor that creates a great ambience. It gets crowded on Fridays. The terrace on the upper floor is awesome but if it's the rainy season it's recommended that you choose/reserve a table inside. The food is good and the prices are okay as well. The staff is friendly.

The terrace bit at the top is pretty cool. Pretty chilled (on a Wed). The bar food menu is pretty tasty.
