Must visited site. Located in few meters to the land side from Habarana main road. Famous among buddhists. Dnt forget ro visit and see the some ancient ruins in jungle behind the temple. Plenty of area sorrounded by the large trees and ruins to see behind this temple. Full of peapocks too. Ancient damn too can be seen in the jungle. Can have nicely arranged bullock carts too if needed.

This is very ancient place but history was duge by some reasons. Actually i'm like this place very much. Suddenly I went this place with my university friend few years ago. I hoped to come this place before that day but I couldn't come because I don't know this area. I went this place two times. I hope I want to go that place again. I think whole people can't come this place. There is Buddhist ancient Boo tree. I think that tree at least 2500 hundred old. At the same time when i was came this place at the first time my mind wad free and i got some relax and also second time too.

Most sacred place for Buddhists as it has the Sacred Bodhi tree. Tranquility of the place is amazing. Every Buddhist must visit the place but leave only your footprints there.
