This is a sacred place. Lot of people come here for religious activities.
This place is devoted specially to God Vishnu. Lot of people pray for goodwill from gods here, they believe they have blessings from here.
Also there are few God statues available here. To most of things we have to pay some money and get a ticket. It would seem not a godly thing as taking money for everything, but that thing is somewhat essential for keeping the place clean and running.
Priests in here are also friendly and supportive.
Not much enough parking available. No wheelchair accessible entrance or wheelchair accessible parking available.response / report this review -

A place of worship and self reflection.
The kovil is a relatively new structure having tiled floors and cement structures as opposed to the old kovils that are largely constructed with granite.
The overall kovil reflects grandeur. This is in keeping with its main deity, Lord Maha Vishnu who is revered for prosperity. The Lord Maha Vishnu statue housed in the kovil is magnificent. On festive and auspicious days, the statue is decorated with flowers, ornaments which make it a simply divine representation of of Lord Maha Vishnu.
The kovil also houses a number of other primary Hindu deities such as Lord Ganesh, Goddess Durga, Lord Murugan and Sri Hanuman to mention a few.
Worshipers can obtain tickets to have poojas conducted for their well being. The worshipers can also obtain ghee lamps to light as a forum of offering.
Even if you are not a Hindu or spiritual, the kovil welcomes all. Take some time to visit it with your family,or would be time will spent.response / report this review -

One of the best Hindu temples in Colombo, currently it has a new Gopuram installed with the temple,which is about 92 feet tall.The temple had many developments,which make it more colourful and spiritual from the inside and outside of the temple.
