Luxury boutique hotel in Balapitiya. Loved the room view. Rooms were so clean and nice. indoor pool. Beach is lovely. Food also good.

Lovely 8 night stay at the end of our trip to Sri Lanka. Rooms could be updated a little and there are too few sun beds, but other than that the whole stay was perfect

Shinagawa beach is very nice beach. Lots of closer places to visit from Shingawa. Hotel where we stayed ( Shingawa beach resort), rooms were of standard type, foods very costly. All the staffs were very nice and co-operative. Boat ride for the island was awesome. There are many service providers for the boat rides too.

From the point of arriving to the point of checking out the staff service was excellent. They were very warm and friendly. And prompt in their service. There was very small gestures of hospitality that really set them apart from other hotels like complimentary sweets they brought every now and then. Place was small and not very crowded. Perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Rooms were spacious with all essential amnities. There was a bathtub in the bathroom which seemed to be a new addition. The room was set up to enjoy the beach view. The beach view from the balcony was amazing. Food was just amazing. Small quantities but great quality. There was breakfast buffet with a good spread. Decorations were very simple and effective. The pool was just facing the reception only separated by a glass door (indoor) so lacks privacy. Had a great experience overall.

Quite and peaceful with a lovely view of the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. This is a perfect place for a getaway. Close by there are enough activities, and places to visit if you want to.

Beautiful small hotel right on the beach. Our stay was all inclusive and the food was amazing not the usual all inclusive buffet but a different menu you can choose from every meal. Staff all friendly and attentive.
