We went to the Royal Beach Hotel in August, i.e. off-season. The staff was friendly and obliging and the rooms were clean and reasonably equipped. Lounge and restaurant also were very clean. The Hotel also has its own beach directly at the restaurant. The breakfast provided was of good quality, however, there could be a bit more variety. Other than breakfast, we just had lunch and food quality was average with prices slightly above average. This is something that could be improved. However, drinks prices are below average. I especially like that the Hotel is run by a local family which struggled with the Tsunami as many others in this area. To summarize, we really enjoyed our stay.
